  1. yeah, nickelsealed, and if someone told you that you cant bore them they are full of shit because you can bore nickesealed sleeves because I do it!
  2. You wont see a massive hp gain, come on guys, its 30 bucks!.lol. What it does is that it stores atomized fuel and gives you snappier throttle responce, and a little bit more topend. Its alot better than the balancer tube!
  3. Alright. locktighted the nut, used the red shit. heavy duty, guess what, it still came off. The washer is called a thrush washer btw. I think I'm just gonna get a new one and see what happens, the nut isnt stripped and neither is the adjustor post, so I dont know what else to do. I tighted that bitch up as tight as I could and it still somehow loosens up. I dont know if I have that much hp (around 85), that it just rips it loose. Are there any aftermarket parts to replace that with?
  4. I lined up to them both at the same time. the yfz450 pulls off the line hard. The honda 450 is kinda iffy. Say the least i blew them both away. I'm not empressed with the honda 450 one bit, there should be something more in the front-end,it looks like its missing something. The motor is decent, and thats putting it easy. Honda 400's with 440's are pretty much dead even. The Yfz450, I'm impressed, sweet ass powerband for a 4-stroke,kept right up with my banshee but it was still getting 2nd hand smoke but come on guys those 2, 4-strokes wont hold a candle to a banshee
  5. WTF..alright..after I got it adjusted and working great.took it out for a tool and lost everthing..its not pulling shit..harder i got on it..more I lost..took it back apart.readjusted it..and it was fine once again. rode it down the road and same f-ing thing. The nut on the adjustor keeps coming loose, and I dont know why. Is that washer a curvical washer or what? I tried putting it on both ways and it still does it. Is locktighting it a good idea?
  6. give me a try guys, prodesign coolhead, 16cc domes, wiseco prolights bored .30 over, full porting, intake ports are crome finished, v-force reeds, with spacers, clamp on filters, wiseco .5mm stroker crank, pro design advanced timing plate, vito's .7 degree key, alum. flywheel, barnett clutch , fmf pipes and silencers, dyna ignition.
  7. You have to put in aftermarket reeds (V-force,boysen's) with the boost bottle or you wont see a change, its gives you more air to open up the reeds faster and give instant throttle responce, and either a different filter in the box (k&n). or clamp ons yes it does work
  8. It was the screw in the middle of the basket. I adjusted it and now they hook up real good. Thanks guys
  9. Ya I'll be there definatly if i can get this cast off my arm in time..hehe, might go anyways with the cast. Just burn up the drag strip!
  10. If you want to use them as a boat anchor they are nice quads!. lol, I've had friends that have had them and nothing but problems, one sized his up 4 times in one year. Only had basic mods. My opinion of them is, if you keep them bone stock, they are alright for a kid. You start putting on pipes, etc. your gonna have trouble!
  11. I'm guessing the same thing, it either got welded, or you lost the ball bearing when you pulled it out. I done the same thing
  12. if you still have the tor system, then you have to have the wiring that is in the clutch perch for it to work. If you unplug the small box in the front of the quad next to the coil, it should have spark, and if its pluged in it wont have spark, this is the problem. There is also a resistor in the stock throttle box, sometimes it sticks. Say you have spark, when you hit the throttle it does nothing but dies out. The resistor is junk, get a new one, or get a TOR eliminator kit, and a parking brake block off. This will solve the problem.
  13. did you line up the needle valves with the windows in the carbs? if not then they wont slide correctly. I would take those off of there and get an eliminator kit, TORS are a pain in the ass.
  14. put in a brand new barnett clutch, put in 3 barnett springs and the rest stock. everthing is set to specs. I rode it a few times and it worked great. Now its starting to slip and i have no clue why. It dosent do it really until it gets in the power band and it high revs and I go no where, whats the deal guys??
  15. i have a set of stock a-arms powdercoated black, reinforced, comes with new carbon fiber bushings for the bottom and brand new stainless steel bushings for the uppers...sell em cheap...e-mail: [email protected]
  16. alright..just a thought though...haha..nice man..I did the exact same thing ,broke my wrist..tried to triple..cased the landing, and over the handlebars i went..lol..needless to say i prolly wont have a job come monday cause i broke my collarbone last month and was off work for 3 weeks! I guess i'll watch for a month..lol
  17. Do you still have your junk parking break crap on it? Same exact thin happened to me, all the electronic junk was getting moisture on it and wouldnt let it rev, when it dried out,, it ran fine
