  2. I think he's talking about the Rocket Pipes setup with the special turkey track silencer.
  3. I was looking through my Dennis Kirk mag last night and I see that Scott has holeshot system in which you use the tear offs over top of your roll offs which I thought was kind of interesting. Their thinking is that in a race you have the most problems with the start so you use the tear off at the begining and then use the roll offs. I won't be racing so it won't be that big of a deal. If I did have problems I can always stop and clean them.
  4. I don't think you are capable of riding if you ask that question on this site.
  5. Wallrat is using a single on his stroker.
  6. Anybody got anything else to say because it looks like a history lesson was taught in here.
  7. I use the Tusk ends and haven't had any problems with them. I'm still not understanding why it won't tighten though. Are your ball joints worn or is it your steering stem? It should tighten up no matter if your ends are shot or not. Were they loose before when you took it apart?
  8. The mud thing makes complete sense to me. Have you tried them?
  9. # 272 Chuck Norris had sex with the mothers of Michael Jordan, John Elway, Babe Ruth, and Wayne Gretzky. This is no coincidence.
  10. Sounds like the gov't is trying to make a decision that should be left up to the childs parents.
  11. I was thinking of trying a set of goggles with the film canisters that you just crank when dirty. One of my buds said they don't work as well as tear offs so I figured I'd ask the HQ. His complaint is that you get mud on the feed side of the film and when you crank the handle it just smears the rest of the film as it pulls across. What are some of your thoughts and are there any other alternatives out there?
  12. That explains it. How does it work???
  13. I don't know CEJ anymore some of those guys look like they may have a freshly shorn scrotum.
  14. I definately agree Brad, I know I didn't loose any top end when I went to the single. Maybe mine's jetted correctly
  15. That's a good idea too, anything that will create a little friction so that it will start pulling on the taper. I suppose you could always loctite it and let it sit for awhile and then thread the nut on.
  16. Check dirtwheels I've seen them with shocks for around $2500-$3000.
  17. And you'll say "I'm sorry officer I really thought he had a gun, it was self defense."

  19. So when are we going to see the chicks out there stradling the freestylers during the freestyle pairs competition. I'm waiting for the 1080 also.
  20. Bigboy hit the nail on the head. Sounds to me like guns will only create more of a problem in these situations. I could see leaving one in a truckand keeping it close while camping but I wouldn't carry one while riding. I have thrown many people off of our land for tresspassing they always say they didn't know who owned the property and the fact of the matter is if you don't know where you are you shouldn't be riding, hunting, standing, or walking there. My family has invested lots of money, time and hardwork in our property for our use and when we find other atv tracks, spent shotgun shells, and gutpiles on our property it's not a good feeling and it sure doesn't make us any friendlier.
  21. Sounds like you are talking about the balljoint. It's a tapered connection. Might tap the backside with a dead blow hammer or rubber mallet. Once the taper seats you can tighten the nut properly.
  22. I've got the MyFi XM setup and it's great. It comes with the home and car docking stations so I take it with me to listen in my house and in my truck. I even have it sitting next to me at work because I get reception inside with the built in antenna which I figured would be junk but it's not, I'm not even by a window. Now when I'm inside I have to find the right spot but since it's got a built in FM modulator I just listen to it through my am/fm walkman so that I don't have to move it. I need to get an additional docking station for work because the battery only lasts about 5 hours. When I travel my rental cars have Sirius and I can never find anything decent to listen to, I haven't heard the Stern show yet but I was very unimpressed with everything else. XM there's always something good no matter if you listen to rock, rap, country, reggae, talk, comedy, opie and anthony, christian, latino... Now that I have it I wouldn't be without it. Sirius has been operating in the red pretty much since they started and paying Stern that kind of money doesn't make sense to me.
  23. That's not completely correct you can "detune" a cub setup so that it will make about the same power as a portjob on your stock cylinders which would cost you about 1/5th the price of the cub setup.
