Just wondering where i should look for some carbs? Also i will hopefully be running the Gorr Port with my setup sometime around christmas, what carbs will work the best with this setup? I do trail riding and a little draggin, but i love my top end. (and yes i realize that the gorr port isn't a top end port, i just don't want to lose any.) I was thinking 34's, let me know what ya think. thanks.

Yeah just got back from finger lakes down here in Columbia, MO. Got to race one of those sweet new 450R's, man those things are nice. Oh yeah about the race, there is still hope for the shee. Those new 450's are fast, but the shee can still do it. Anyways, 450R i raced was indeed bone stock (yeah, i realize i've got mods he doesn't, but come on i'm working with old technology here.) The rider was probably about 110lbs, he said 130lbs but i seriously doubt it. I'm about 210lbs (in case you're wondering). So we get out into a straight away (pavement, ohh yeah) and do a rolling start from second. I pulled about a quad length in second, about two in third, and fourth gear it was all over, i just kept pulling away then. Just thought i would post this let you all know my experience with the new and improved 450R. Oh yeah i schooled him on mx track too, just kidding i just sat back and watched.

I realize that it will be a lil more than $250 but i shouldn't need a rebuild, about a year ago i rebuilt it with weisco's and a hot rods crank. But in that years time i've ridden the banshee probably twenty five or thirty hours. And yes i realize i will need to get new gaskets but i actually think i might have some laying around. What do you think? -

Well i know for sure i don't want to make it a stroker, i shouldn't say don't want to, just can't afford it. But definitely no stroker, unless of course i get a little lonely and no one's around. Kidding, geez. I think i'll do the gorr port, what will i gain and what will i lose? Also if you got a gorr port tell me what you thought of it. Another question, will i be able to run the stock carb setup with this port? I plan on upgrading the carbs (bigger ones, 34's maybe) but that won't be till about april/mayish. How do i get a hold of this guy so i can find out some prices and info? Keep the replies coming, thanks. -
i've got $250 and i was wondering where it should be spent, well of course the engine, but on what? And yes i did a search on this topic and most people narrowed it down to reeds or a coolhead/nosshead. I did have a question about the coolhead and nosshead, what is the difference in the two? So what should i spend the money, reeds, coolhead/nosshead? Here's my setup 2000 banshee T-5's Hot Rods crank and wiesco pistons clamp-on K&N's +4 timing lightened flywheel and either a 310 or 320 main Riding Style: Just general riding around, tooling around with buddies (they ride a 660 raptor, Z-400, and a KFX 400. I do like wide open top end runs, but i do ride trails any chance i get, just not real tight ones. obviously. Thanks for the replies.

how to cut fenders....
lastlegwarrior replied to lastlegwarrior's topic in General Banshee Discussion
sorry, didn't mean to have a repost, but i check bhq every now and then and i had never seen a post on how to cut the fenders. So my deepest apologizes, do you think you all can ever find the heart to forgive me? -
i know it sounds pretty straight forward but what does everyone use to cut their fenders, and how should i cut them. Basically if someone could provide me with some type of walkthrough on how they did theirs that would be great. thanks.

just wondering what size of main jet i should be using (i know these a guesstimations, but get me close), i'm running a .030 bore (wiseco's), T-5's, clamp-on K&N's (pod filters), +4 degree advanced timing. The elevation is approxiamately 1000ft. and the weather will be approx. 70 or 80. Thanks for the help, i'm thinking 320's.

Get some whey protein, creatine, and some NoX2 and work your ass off. Oh yeah stay away from soda or pop and drink tons of water. You'll get big.
-
just need some yfz's figure if i'm gonna spend any money getting replacement shocks better spend some more and actually get some good ones. let me know.
-
Need a bearing carrier, I trashed mine.
-
On further reconstruction of the shee, i now need a axle carrier. So let me know. thanks.
-
blew my front left shock in an accident was needing just one really but i know they usually are sold in pairs so i'll take what i can get. If you've got any yfz 450 shocks laying around i might be interested in those instead, so shoot me a price. Either ones will be fine, stock banshee shocks, or yfz shocks. thanks

banshee axle, tie rod, and a grab bar. appreciate it, thanks.

How Much Have You Spent on Your Shee?
lastlegwarrior replied to Slammin Full Bore's topic in General Banshee Discussion
locogato, wish i was. actually it's probably a lil more if i really figure, heck the chopper ride set me back $12,000. It's all good though, three surguries, 8 screws, 4 pins, and two plates later i've got a bionic left leg. Geez, if i could have just spent that on the banshee, hmmmm. -

i've spent $54,300.00, but that's including the hospital bills. -
i need one, bent mine last weekend in a sweet a$$ wreck/drag..
-
tweaked frame, try to bend it back?
lastlegwarrior replied to lastlegwarrior's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
got some pics i'll post tomorrow. i'd post'em now but i don't have my digital camera with me. i don't think it's bent too bad. -
i was riding last weekend and i wrecked my shee. Tweaked the frame a little, but only the part the seat sits on, you know not the main part of the frame just the back part where you grab bar connects to. Do you think i should maybe try to bend it back, if so what would you suggest. Or should i save up and get a new one, damn thier expensive. thanks for the replies.
