  1. $1500, to me. I can pick it up from your house tomorrow. Worth a shot huh?
  2. Sorry for not responding in the last few days, started a new job...etc. Anyway, yes this place is legal, yes both sides of the road were open, and you only need to have a michigan ORV sticker to ride. THis time I never even saw the DNR (I refer to all atv officers as DNR, I don't know if that is what the Ohio ones are called or not) guy, so it wasn't an issue. THey closed some of the older trails that were open last year, namely the drag strip that was across the road. I wasn't happy, as this was were I could show the Banshee's true colors against my bro's raptor. They also put up these huge signs saying "slow down and stay alive." Apparently they had some major accidents with people hitting trees at speed last year. Anyway, if you guys have any other questions let me know. Later
  3. Alright fellas, I went to the place in Ohio this morning. It took me roughly an hour and 15 minutes to get there from my house, in the downriver area. Thats doing about 10 over the speed limit, so you could prolly make it faster than I did. THe place is small like I said before, and it was pretty muddy due to all of the rain. My shee was covered. Overall, a lot of whoops and mud. Would have been much better if it was more dry. I will go back again, simply because it makes for a quick trip for the day. Here are the directions from my area. I-75 South to Exit 204 (in Ohio), West 475 West 475 to US23/South475 Towards Maumee/Dayton Merge onto Hwy/OH-2 West Exit 8B Continue West and cross 64 About a mile past 64, Harbor Side Health Care is on the left. Turn left at the street just past Harbor Side HC which is Country RD #2. (The RD 2 corner has Swan Gallery Custom Framing and Learning Center on it.) Continue south on County RD 2 and pass county Rds. EF, E, and D. The parking lot is just past Rd D on the left hand side. The trails are on both sides of the road, and there is a crossing area made for it. All of Road 2 looks like a residential area. I thought that we were in the wrong place, but we weren't. When you cross D, the area turns much more into a riding style area. There were only like two people there at 7:30am when we got there, but when we left at 12:30 the lot was packed. On weekdays my friends claim that there are barely any other riders around. Let me know if you have questions.
  4. Bingo, had the same problem. My shift shaft claw was off of my star. Only allowed 3rd and 4th gears. I bought a new shaft assembly from the stealership, and bought a modded star from Boonman on here. THe whole thing can be fixed from under the clutch cover. Took me an evening of wrenching. Good luck, and hope that helps.
  5. I am going there tomorrow, my bro says he has the directions written down. I will try to post them tomorrow night. It is state land, and is specifically for ATVs and dirtbikes. Like I said before, it is kind of small. THe people I know that go there always ride with just Michigan ORV stickers and have yet to have a problem. I was saying that people might get kicked out, because I think you have to be spark arrested and have the ORV stickers. THe DNR cop threw this guy out last year, because his kid (who was riding a little 50cc dirtbike) was too young (like 8 or so). THe guy yelled and said that he had seen the laws, but the cop was just a prick to him. Hope to post tomorrow.
  6. I have been to the Ohio/Michigan line area you guys are talking about. I am just south of Detroit, and it took me a lil over a hour to get there. It is extremely small, just two little trail areas. I usually go on day trips there for like 4-5 hours and come home. I will get the directions from my brother, as he is usually the driver when we go. It is down some small roads, and he had to make directions as it doesn't come up on mapquest. If you go, make sure you have an ORV (I have a michigan one and haven't had to get the Ohio one yet) and are completely legal to ride. The cop is usually there on weekends especially, and will stop you from riding. Anyway, I should have directions sometime over the weekend. I might even go there on Sunday. Later
  7. I bought a polished clutch cover with an aluminum impeller and insert installed from them a few weeks ago. The auction said that it was somewhat dull but a little mothers would fix it. This thing has scratches in multiple spots, the insert is junk. I tried to repolish it, and it has oxidation marks that are going to take me many hours to sand and polish out. I won't be buying from them anymore. They also suck for not using Paypal.
  8. Shitty forcast has killed my group as well. No one wants to go, so I won't be either.
  9. I think that I will still be going, but the weather is not supposed to be so nice. If it still looks like its gonna rain all weekend, I might decide not to go at the last minute. I prolly wont go Memorial day, too many people to ride. I might though, depending on whether I can get others to go as well. Later.
  10. Check through the feedback, and see the feedback he left for the winning bidder. He actually thought that he was going to get $725 for two pieces of cheese? What an idiot!
  11. I just installed my used works triples. I believe that they are just the steelers. Anyway, my buddy said that you can loosen the nut on the bottom of the reservoir, and turn the thumb screw to adjust them. Is this true? And what does it do? I haven't even ridden with them yet, I bought them on Ebay over the winter. Plan on riding Silver Lake in two weeks with them for the first time (I will have my factory ones just in case). Any help or tips appreciated. Thanks.
  12. I will be there, staying at the Sierra Sands hotel Friday and Saturday. They are running some cheaper deal, like $103 for two consecutive nights. I don't know what time I'll be there, but I will look for the flags/d-tape. I will have a group of between 4-10 guys. Anyone remember how much the annual pass for the truck and shee both is? How much are ORVs? I bought them last year, and can't remember. Hope to see you guys out there.

    Silver Lake

Good deal, my group varies from 4 to 10 depending, and we usually just get campsites in the summer. I looked into renting a cabin from DAR's website, but it says that they only do weekends if available, usually only by the week though. They also have a bunch of rules. I didn't want to call them to find out yet, maybe for a later trip in the season.
  14. I bought works triples with rezzies used over the winter on ebay for $250. Haven't ridden yet, but am itching to. Will let you know after the end of the month, when I get back from Silver Lake.

    Silver Lake

I plan on being there with a group that weekend, but don't know how many. Do you guys rent a cabin? Or does someone own one? (that would be sweet). If you do rent, where from and how much. I think that my group will be staying in the Sierra Sands, on their like $100 for two night deal. We usually camp in tents on all the other trips. I was looking into the cabin idea though.
  16. I went there labor day last year, it was sweet. Prolly about 60-70 people at the bottom of the hill. Be careful though, DNR was all over, gave me a $75 ticket for riding on a dirt path that branched off of the trail (stupid B@#$%) . Make sure where you ride is legal. Have fun...
  17. Where are you from? you went to Silver Lake last week, and Bull Gap this week? I am from the Detroit area, and I know that each of those are like 3 hour drives for me. And there is the small inconvenience of not having any money to fund riding weekends.
  18. Drew & Mike do rock. I listen to them in the mornings on my way to college. Congrats on the win!
  19. I wanna say that I read on hear somewhere that someone was having problems with the Trinity head. Only heard good things about Noss though, so you can't lose with that.
  20. I second the inclusion of the built in spark arrestor. I have PC platinums with built ins now, and won't buy another pipe without this style of silencer. I think that Trinity offers spark arrestors that are custom fit to the end of their silencers, you can run with or without them. They attach like a cap on the end. I would definitely be more inclined to buy the rockets if they had sparkys. Just my 2 pennies.
  21. Please send me pics of the front rims/tires as well, if he doesn't take them. [email protected] Thanks.
  22. Has anyone tried pyramid reeds? I was thinking of picking up a set used for cheap. I cannot afford 200 for the vforces right now, and I figured they would be a cheap alternative. THanks.
  23. If he isn't interested in the front rims/tires I might be. PM me with a price for them shipped to 48146.
  24. I am looking to buy a new chain, as mine is about adjusted to the max. What number of links do I need? I think that I'm going with a DID X-ring chain, du to recommendations from the HQ here. Should I do sprockets too? Or can I get buy without? Thanks
