  2. one more thing. how hard is it to put in a different set of domes. the dealer says only about a half hour. any ideas?
  3. okay i am right around sea level but give or take a few depending where i go i'd say 1000 above sea level and according to that chart 20cc domes should be right on the money. what kind of gas should i run with the 20's? thanks again

  5. okay thanks. today i had a leftover jug from my four stroke that i sold not too long ago, and decided to mix it with cam 2. i mixed about half and half. i really can't tell a difference to tell you the truth. maybe a tiny bit but nothing major. i am gonna mix it straight from now on. cam 2 is a little expensive so i might change the domes so i can run pump gas. what kind of gas would i have to run with 22cc domes?
  6. yea i just put on the pro design cool head with interchangeable domes and i put on 15cc and i know that with those domes i'll need to run cam 2 in it and was wondering if i could mix cam 2 w/ 95 octane pump gas. I tried this today and it seemed like it was okay and i was wondering if this was okay or not. thanks
  7. yea i got a shee with the 2 in 1 carb and pipe kits. i also have the motor ported to standard and was wondering what kind of horsepower this thing had. i was also wondering if anyone else had this setup and how it ran for them.
  8. ok last thing. i just replaced the spark plugs and i can tell it's breakin in and sometimes in high rpm's it's stuttering. do you know what could cause this? too rich to lean? pleeez help. thanks
  9. no i am not running stock tires. i am runnning itp i-9 rims with kenda klawz all the way around.
  10. i guess i'll just have to learn how things work when i take the carb apart. i helped my brother jet his yfz450 and i wouldn't think their's that big of a difference between that and this. i know i have to switch gears a hell of a lot sooner on my banshee then on the z400 that i use to have. it's like as soon as you switch gears, it's already at the rev limiter. i was wondering if that's normal too by the way. thanks again guys. you guys are a huge help. I was also wondering if you had to use a special type of staple gun to put on a seat cover because i need aseat cover. after that i'll be good. thanks again for all the help
  11. this is my first banshee, before the banshee i had a z400 and you and me both know that thing had a lot of low end. i bought the banshee with the 2 in1 carb and the 2 in 1 pipe setup. when i take off on the banshee it's sort of boggy taking off but it hits the power band very soon and from then on you gotta hold on. i was wondering if the jetting in my carb was correct but i have no idea what jets are in it cuz i bought it put together like that. should the low end feel like a four stroke or not? I know that's prolly a dumb question but was just wondering. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks again

  13. thanks for all the replies. this site is great. i was wondering, what company sold the best jets. I've been riding for a while but i wanted to really learn how to work on them. Also, i was wondering, what people with the 2 into 1 setup thought of it and how it ran compared to stock. I heard that it had a lot more bottom end, but it's been so long since i've rode a stock banshee. my brother has a yfz450 and it can stay pretty even in high gear. well thanks again for all the replies.
  14. okay, just got a 92 banshee but everything was rebuilt. motor ported to standard w/ wiseco pistons and la sleeves, k and n filter. works rear remote shock w/ rezzie, dynoport 2 into 1 exhaust. trinity 2 into 1 carb kit, sachs front piggyback shocks w/ rezzies. I was wondering if anyone had this setup and how it ran to them because i think my carburetor is running a little rich. i checked the plugs and they looked a little rich and have no idea how to tune it correctly and would appreciate if anyone knew the proper way to tune and what jetting is the best for this setup. this bike was setup for low end torque. please reply. appreciate it
