  1. will it engage without holding the clutch? if that's the case then the spring clip that holds your shift shaft tight came loose. take off the clutch cover and take the clutch off and you'll see the shift star behinda metal thing that changes the gears. the black spring is on the clutch side of the shift shaft. just tight the screw and nut and adjust it the best you can and that should do it.
  2. the cable is fine. i took the clutch off and i think i have to adjust something on the pressure plate. is their a way to adjust the pressure plate so the clutch lever will have some spring. i am getting a clymer manual in a few days and i just wanted to get a heads up. thanks guyss
  3. hey guys i snapped my front right hub. i was wondering if you needed some kinds of special tool to take the bolt out after you took the metal clips out and the nut off because i can't get it loose. i should be gettign a clymer manual any day now. help me out guys. thanks guys
  4. hey guys i just recently had to remove the clutch and all because the shift star spring/clip came loose and i put it all back together and the clutch lever has to spring. i mean when you pull it it doesn't go back if you know what i mean. i might sound like a dumb ass but that's what it's doing. what do you guys recommend about that?

  6. not sure about the size but the hubs are stock so they'll fit a stock shee. tread about 90-95%. practically brand new. maybe 3 hours ride time if that since rebuild. tires and rims 300 shipped. let meknow

  9. motor: JUST bored .060 over with pro lites and LA sleeves. maybe 3 hours on rebuild. new voretex clutch basket. flaming skull clutch cover, water pump cover. roll design folding shifter. 2 in 1 keihin carb. it's a 33 or 35. not 100% sure. i have a bunch of extra jets. 2 in 1 intake with k and n air filter. boyeseen reeds and cages. trinity stage 4 intake. pro design cool head with 15 cc domes. fresh powder coat paint - maroon. frame, handle bars and swinger. EX pull clutch lever and cables. new brakes all the way around. itp t-9 pro baja rims with kenda klawz tires. i am sure i am leaving stuff out. just pm me if you're interested and i'll give you a price. thank guys
  10. hey guys i got the clutch and basket off. the thing was off the shift star that shifts gears. the only problem is that the shift shaft will not stay in place. it keeps on moving back and forth. i was wondering is this was normal or not. pleez help guys because this is really starting to irratate me. thanks guys. i'll talk to you later.

  12. no you misunderstood me. i got that big nut off of the clutch but i can't pull it off. people say that i need a gear puller. do i or not? help guys. thanks
  13. hey guys i have a problem with my shift shaft moving back and forth and i heard that you need to get the clutch off and look behind it at the shift star. is this true? i hope so because i got the clutch off i just need to take the basket and all off. i think i need a gear puller. is that for sure what i need to get it off? please tell me. thanks guys. i'll talk at you later.
  14. ok i found the problem. i unplugged the switch like tats said and it sparked. i put everything back together and it fired right up. now how would i go about getting the switch working again? would i need a new switch or what? is their anyway i could wire it up so i could just use the kill switch and do away with the switch completely? thanks guys. i don't know what the hell i would do without you guys
  15. ok i think i confused you guys into thinking that i had dual 35's. i have a single 35 PWK carb. NOT DUALS. lol. anyways, i just put a 230 main in there and a 50 pilot and i am at the 5th and final clip on the needle so if this thing still runs lean, their has got to be running lean.i think i have a wire loose or something because the plugs are giving off sparks. any ideas guys? i relocated the headlight and switch to the left side of the frame and just recently got duals on it and the switch barely touched the header pipe and i think the pipe may have burnt something in the switch. the only thing i have the switch setup to do is headlights because i have a kill switch. any ideas guys?   16. yep. i just rejetted with a bigger pilot and main. if it was sparking it would atleast sounds like it wanted to start. i'm not even getting that. and yes i earthed it to the frame.
  17. ok, i think i may have fingured out why this damn thing isn't starting. i took out the spark plugs and hooked up the wires and kicked it and i didn't see a spark. i even turned the lights off in the garage to see if i could see it and still nothing. when i got the banshee it had a single pipe on it and now i have dual fmf fattys on it and the headlights switch is relocated to the left frame like barely touching the left header pipe. could the pipe have caused it to head up and burn a wire or some crap like that? i don't know what to do and i am about to roll this thing off a cliff because ever since i got it it's been poopy. lol. hope you guys can help
  18. i am not sure if it needs a new top end or not. i mean their is a ton of compression when i check the kicker. the other day i took the spark plugs out and the one on the right cylinder was burnt real bad and it broke off the electrocode of the spark plug. that was with a 185 main and a 48 pilot. i just got 200, 210, 220, and 230 mains and a 50 pilot today. i mean i need some new spark plugs and hopefully when i put the bigger jets in and throw in a set of plugs, she'll fire up. i'll let you guys know what happens.
  19. ok i just put a brand new top end on this damn thing and i think their is an air leak or something somewhere cuz it doesn't want to start. i mean i did have it started and when it ran it ran like a bat out of hell. i don't know what to think. i was wondering how much it would cost to put new pistons on because the cylinders are good. i was wondering if around $250 - $300. i am getting sick of doing this shit myself and something happen to it after it's back together. pleez help
  20. i am running the 35mm single carb. if i was running the dual carbs with the 35's would that affect the jettting?
  21. no shit man. it seems like every bike i get, idon't have any luck. i wish i could figure out what the hell is wrong with the damn thing. it really pisses me off man. i haven't measure the compression yet. i am gonna pull the head off and if nothing is wrong with the pistons, i'll get the compression measured. one more thing. i already put a new top end that has been bored .60 over so the piston with the hole was fixed, so i don't know what could be the problem. it seems to have good compression, so i don't know what could be the problem.
  22. i have an 88 quadracer that was just rebuilt from the gound up with new bearings and bolts and swingarm. everything is pretty much brand new except the motor cases and carb and tires and wheels and shocks. pm me if you're interested. i would be willing to throw in some cash if you're interested
  23. ok what we have her is an 88 suzuki lt250 quadracer for sale. it was just recently rebuilt from the ground up. it has a brand new frame and all the bolts, bearings etc. are new as well. it is in great running condition. brand new swingarm and chain and chain rollers and new maier grey plastics and seat cover as well. fmf fatty pipe pro series. new throttle cable. new blue shock covers. i am interested in selling it or trading for a four stroke in good running condition. i am trying to sell this for a buddy of mine. if you want to contact him, his email is embassy143@adelphia.net. or call curtis at (304)283-4824. thanks

  25. yea it's a 92 banshee with a hot rod crank, bored .60 over w/ wiseco pro lite pistons just rebuilt two weeks ago. pro design cool head w/ interchangeable domes. i have 15cc domes right now so you will have to run pump gas. works rear remote shock and sachs front piggy back shocks. renthal bars, pro design kill switch. itp t-9 pro baja rims on kenda klawz all the way around practically brand new maybe 5 hours on them. new white plastics. trinity stage 4 intake system w/ single keihin 35mm carb. K and N air filter. i am sure their are more. their has been a lot of money put in to this thing and it does scream. o yea i forgot to say that i have fmf fattys pipes. pm me if you're interested. will trade for four stroke. if not trade, i'll sell it for $3500 or best offer.
