Hey all! Since it is winter I want to start with my safe room construction in my new home. It has a woden frame and an older solid woden door that is aprox a little under 1 inch thick. I want to get a basic dead bolt that will take alot of hits. There are 5 hinges on it now and a place where it looks like a barrel bolt used to be. I want to get 3 heavy duty hinges and replace the 5 week ones that have week screws. Could you reccomend hinges, a brand of screws, and a reglar type of dead bolt? I have a buddy who is a carpeneter so he will help me install. I cant put a handel lock because it has the old style skleton key lock. So it will just be a heavy duty dead bolt. I bought a heavy duty barrel bolt and a chaine style lock. I will put the barrel bolt on the bottom of the door, so It will go into the floor, and the chaine at the regular location. I am also buying a maxidoor gate http://www.maxidor.co.za/products.htm To put infront of my solid door. My plan is to keep my room locked when ever I am not home and just to lock the cage part at night and to keep my solid door open so I can hear out side my room. Is it nessiarry to reinforce my woden frame with a metal one? I hope this is helping other people with there home plan. This stuff is fun to do. Maybe someday I will buy a camera or two as well. 22 inch pure sports bandit xc tires. rocket pipes with K&N filter and remove air box snorkel, also find a place to jet hot coat them, carbon tech or delta V force reeds, then i would get PRM skid plates and pro grip gels and maybe later a port and head mod. But get the pipes first . If you do low end riding id get the Toomey T5's, i dont like fmf for banshees andbesides the banshee is a top end machine so get rockets.

I have a German Shepherd that is 2 and he doenst know what to do. I kept him and the blood hound in my room at night. Now he id so sad. I wonder how I can get him over it.

I had a blood hound. He was about 7 years old. I trained him for search and rescue and had a really strong bond with him. He has had cancer for 2 years. Within the last 2 weeks it got real bad . Today I had to put him to sleep I am going to bury him tomorrow at a special spot at the cabin . I was wondering if any of you had a similar experiance and how you delt with the anger and sadness. Im just so fucking devistated

If I have a mag light and hit someone with it, in the head or body or leg, will it break or will it hold up as a weapon? This may sound stupid however I patrol a huge facility and need something for defense. I will post a picture of the one I bought later on. Also any experiacne with a larger one? Hey guys, I decided on not getting a crotch rocket b/c they are so dangerous. I decided on a harley and decided today beacause it is a nice day and I am bored. If I had one I could ride. Which one should I Get? I want to ride really far on the highways and the back roads (up to the mountains) and just for fun. I woulda also like to drive to school on a nice day. How far can you go on a tank? My main concern is the ability for people to see me and the noise. I want THE LOUDEST POSSIBLE BIKE AND THE MOST VISABLE. I am thinking a sportster 883 or 1200, or a used higher end model. What is a good mileage on a used one? Who makes the best helmets and gear? I want pants and a jacket as well as a full face helmet. None of which are black. I want a high visable color like red or orange but dont want to look dumb. Thanks for the help
