  1. this is a gnarly thread man, i'm so stoked reading it that i'm LMAO sitting on my YFZ............ 350 Banshee..... Yeah I've kinda been wondering that same thing myself. LMAO...
  2. No worries. I thought you saw my post to YUK wanting to buy his 2-1 set-up. Did you end up with it? Let us know how your carb works out..
  3. Yeah, that's the last thing we need. Big Brother is already trying to phase out two-stroke power plants. Wait and see where that goes. Don't need em policing us anymore than necessary. Everybody ride responsibly and quit taking those fat bottomed chicks on wheelie rides without a helmet on.... I see some guys buying there 8-10yr. old sons 300&400 EXs and turning them loose on them with no helmet and no type of training at all. When you confront these people after youve had a close call with these kids it gets real nasty, like it's none of you f*&^ing business what my boy does. Then it really gets nasty and you get more people involved until you get it settled or have to run these out of the riding area. My 8yr. old son rides my 300 fourtrax on my trails on my property with a helmet on. he's very seldom out of my sight. But when he is I don't worry because he's been trained to respect his machine and not to ride over his head. The sad part is that most adults that are riding don't have any more business on a quad than the child does...
  4. Hockey, you meddlin' with me boy....
  5. LE is for the Limited Edition 03 Model I do believe. Why it's cheaper than silver is a mystery to me, if in fact it is cheaper. 550 is a smokin' deal. 400.00 is good price for aframe with no damage. I see em for that price locally, so that's about the goin' rate Hockey. From the pic, looks good ta me. Stoned prolly didn't know and was just testin' the water, not tryin' to bust your balls....
  6. broke, what do you need the crank for, shee or rap?
  7. Exactly... Except for the loadin' ramp shit CEJ, I'm using my sack for better things... Retrosexual Man...aka The Rebel
  8. you've got my email addy, I want the cv set-up
  9. where's the junk? all I see is new parts. looks legit to me. a little high on the engines, but hey that's bidness...Rebel
  10. Good call sredish. Let's all put it back in their face. The big propaganda machine needs to be whittled down from every direction. Glad to see everyone that's awake.
  11. sheerider isn't this your home page. thought I saw this on one of your posts
  12. I bet you liked the part about the whale tracking in that post you just quoted. That's some funny shit. NASA please save us !!.. The Rebel
  13. Now children, behave. It's raining today. I'm not riding. So I'm sitting here drinking cold beverages reading words from future world leaders. Some are intelligent, some are down right ignorant. I won't call names, hopefully soon enough these will read the right instruction manual and put their faith in the right place. NIV is pretty clearly written. I've been called Conspiracy Theory man by co-workers, I guess they're reffering to the movie with Mel Gibson. Haven't caught that one, heard it was worth watching. Yes, I've got opinions, and yes I've got the tenacity to air em out once in awhile. Does it help? Maybe, maybe not. Just remember kids, this "War on Terrorism" is just like the "War on Drugs" except it has been taken to another level. They are both manufactured right here in the good ole USA. Big ole Corporate America runs this show and our Pres. just happens to be in bed with the whore. If they want you silenced, it can be done easy enough, because this is a nation of cowards( and it looks like a whole bunch of queers are in there too). Clear Channel is the latest and worst of the tools they're using aginst your 1st. Beware. Also beware of the farce that goes under the title of "Homeland Security" too. These are the same fellow Americans that allowed the ragheads in and trained them to fly our nice big Airplanes(weapons of mass destruction?). The 1st is the strongest, but without the 2nd none of the others would be possible. Keep a check on your liberal Dems. on the renewal of the crime bill of 94 that sunsets this year, write your Congressman explaining why our Forefathers had the since to look out for the future of this nation, not to mention our personal protection. Now since we are getting personal; mcaf29, they're definitely using monitoring euipment, but don't think you know what they're monitoring, you're just a paid employee of the Spy in the Sky. No offense meant either brother, that's just what you do. You also might want to learn more about cancer and what causes it before you praise someone for saving us from it. Ducman, been there bud, but not from cracking my head. Brooke, I think Holyman wants to liberalize you baby, in Moore ways than one. That Michael Moore shit was pretty damn funny though. I just wish you weren't so political, I kind of like you. Wow, I hope this doesn't mean I'm an internet stalker. Cotton Eyed Joe, you make a good arguement about checking tyrants, keep it up with the history lessons that's the only way to learn. And history does repeat itself. XTShee, you would be better off just posting your big tittied avatar every now and then and keep your ignorant mouth shut(some of em really do need to be silenced). 4312, dude get off the booze and weed long enough to develop some spelling and typing skills. Do any of you know what a Libertarian is? He is a person that is for personal and individual rights. In my opinion, that is what are Founding Fathers had in mind when the original document was written. If you read and study our Constitution you can see that these men of men were light years ahead of these overstuffed Bastards of today. Damn, this is depressing, didn't want to go here today. I think I'll get in the K5 and go trail riding and listen to some Led Zeppelin and think about how it should of been Have fun!!!
  14. Wow, I got ripped off, my Banshee doesn't have a brake light... Brake light.....
  15. Thought you burned stock carbs in the fire pit Scott. What color are the flames when you do that.....
  16. What he said....
  17. There are several ways to pump up your power. They all work in different styles of riding. I trail ride too. You want a powerband that comes on low and smooth without that arm wrenching hit . So I went with a4mm, long rod stroker crank from Wiesco, .080 over on the bore using standard Blaster pistons. Using stock carbs and stock ports this combo has more bottom end than any 350 cranked Shee I've ridden. On a 500 ft. asphalt dragstrip my bike is within 1/1000 of a second as quick as a fully drag ported , drag piped 350 engine with 35mm pwks. This combo is real impressive. The real beauty is the port timing, being so mild, my carb jetting is never tempermental like the radically ported 350s are. But there's always room to improve if needed. I'm running a Trinity modified head and develop 150psi. of compression which runs on pump gas all day long, another BONUS. If you think you'll ever stroke your Shee, let your engine builder know that in advance. If you get it ported before you decide to stroke it later. Some port configurations just don't work that well with a stroker crank. The port timing changes when you add stroke to the crank. Remember that if you get it ported keep it on the conservative side, the more radical the port timing is the more tempermental you jetting needs will be. Hope that helps....
  18. how would the jetting be affected between stock carbs and bored stock carbs on a motor such as mine? Well, you'll be sucking more air so you'll have to have more fuel going in, how much depends on your "volumetric efficiency". (I just wanted to get that in there ) If you have stock carbs and you get them bored, you'll have to rejet and will be jetting it richer than it was to match the extra air. Sorry, I didn't read your question right. Not necessarily sredish. You won't allways need to jet richer just because you have a bigger throat dia. in a particular carb design. It will depend on the pressure drop across the emulsion tube in the main power circuit of the carb. I have bored carbs before and actually ran less main jet to get the A/F ratio on line. Sometimes that happens, but that is where the " Volumetric Efficiency" (you like that, don't you) of the engine set up comes in to play, plus the design of the carb. That's where I'm kinda like you on the stockers, I'd much rather run Keihins than Mikunis. Getting back to the jetting question, if you have ever read a tuning manual on jetting for max power you know to always start on the fat side on the main jet. Then work your way down till you get a good plug reading(cocoa brown works for me), and the engine is pulling strong in all the gears. After that you might have to tailor your needle setting or run different taper needles to get your 1/4 to Full throttle response dialed in. Looking more and more like it would be easier to run the single carb set-up, but that's another story. Bottom line: Start out bigger on the main jet than you would have in the stock carbs on the engine with the same mods, then work your way down. Every set-up is different.
  19. Ozzy, on drugs?
  20. Ahhight Looking for a 2-1 with a 33mm air striker now. Anybody? Preciate it.
  21. Allright guys, does anyone have a good answer for this one, it's probably been asked before. I'm a new Banshee rider, looking for a little better response from carbs. Would it be better to run the single carb set-up as opposed to a set of 28 or 30mm pwks. I ride tight trails and some hill climbs, and a lot of sand bar drags. Help me out guys. Thanks.
  22. Right on. Not trying to show disrespect, just have seen and bought more for less. Carry on.
  23. Nice RACK B&B.... Now take the gloves off.
  24. Banshees are dirt cheap minkia, that's not worth a grand.
