  1. I have jetted mikuni carbs but not keihins. Would anyone have a close guess on what I would need for a main jet? ( Each main jet around 5 bucks) I know with mikuni 34mm carbs I would need around a 310 main What would that be for Keihins?I Have a 421cc Cheetah kit with Paul Turner mid range pipes, and clamp on air filters. Anyhelp would be Nice Jeff
  2. I have never really jetted before I started to mess with it once but just ended up bringing it ti the shop. I need a starting point. I Have 34mm mukuni carbs clamp on k&n with outerwears, 421cc Cheetah monoblock, pump gas, paul turner mid range pipes, and I live in michigan. I would like to save some money and do this myself but it seems tricky, any help would be useful. Jeff
  3. for the next half hour Im going to try a few of your ideas. I hope I dont have to slti the cases I will tell you how it works out. Boonman a picture would be so helpful. the pics in the manual suck. and what it tells you is some thing like " until the key bottoms out " what does that mean? does the little outside gear sit flush with the primary gear or just against the key? Jeff
  4. I put in a 4mm crank. So as I am putting the cases back together I try to take my time to make sure I don't mess it up. (But I F*@ked it up anyway) I put the woodruff key (square one) on before I put the primary gear on And then put the gear on. It didnt go on far enough so I took A socket that fit around the the middle of the gear and tapped it and now its stuck on there. and the gap between the case and gear is too small for a gear puller. What do I do? does anyone have a picture so I can see how its got to sit on the crank? yes I know, no stupid questions just stupid people. Please Help me out. Jeff
  5. No They cost about the same but cheetahs come ported I believe.
  6. I am thinking of buying a set of T rex cylinders and Was wondering who ports them? Is it more expensive then stock cylinders? Wheres the bests place to go? I was just thinkig a play, mx port job. am I going to see huge gains or is it better just to live the cylinders the way they come?
  7. i bought a 1995 wiring harness off ebay, thinking it would fit my 1992 cdi , stator , etc. But It doesnt. so I was wondering where I could get the connectors for the wiring harness.
  8. Now That I know Im retarded, I will Get CpI's. I already Have A 4mm Crank so I dont want to run a 7mm. I will be Mostly just play riding. Some Drag racing with freinds. I was just wonderin which was the bigger bang for the Buck because Im only 18 And want one OF the fastest bikes in my town. I did notice that it seems that cheetah cylinders have thicker side walls and have a few more ports. I dont really know a lot. But I know the basics. Any more info or If you feel the need to rip on me Positvely or negatively. Please do. I enjoy hearing everyones input. Thanks
