I live and ride on Long Island, NY also and what you just said is just about impossible to do Like stated earlier it's fucked up that there is no legit place to ride but yet they don't have a problem selling us our ATV's and then collecting our registration money that they don't use to benefit us. Why the hell collect it. Where the hell does the money go ? I did read that a support group is rallying together to get law makers to appoint us some land to ride on, but then I hear that they said something about 50 - 100 acres. Now that is WACK Do they really think with all the registered ATV's, non registerd, and the steadily rising sales of ATV's, that this will be sufficient ? I would have love to attend the hearing but I had no idea when and where it was I live in Bay Shore, and I ride off of Rt. 111 and the 495,and Riverhead Pine barrons. Also in the woods at Pilgrim State Pyschiatric Center - and now I seen at the 3rd precint 2 cop quads loading up on a trailer ready to go here and bust people. One of the highest paid cop forces in the country and this is what they do with our hard earned tax money I heard that some newly elected official wanted to reduce the amount of cops on night patrol because alot have been caught just chillin side by side bullshitin' and even sleeping in their squad cars...Enough venting Let me go check out that website and see what I can do - Jeff

I had the same exact problems except my shee started most of the time, just couldn't ride it the way she was breaking up. After both compression testing and all of electrical components and ruling them out I found out that I needed new carbs. I got rejetted to what I had and she is running beautiful. So if the coil checks out fine you might wanna check and see if the carbs are any good the dude said something about the needle and seat in the floats...I think

From Long Island, NY and I ride on Long Island. Mainly in Deer park by Pilgrim Psychiatric Center, The Pitt off the LIE (495) in Happauge and the pine barrons in Riverhead. I wanna make it upstate a couple of times this summer but I don't know where to go . Guess I got to check with the local riders and hook up with them. Oh yeah I am most def makin it my bizness to ride the Hatfield - Mccoy trails in W. Virginia this year

Just called them today and they said $650 They said that was for the dual piston kit, gaskets, rehoned cylinders, rebuilt carbs, air box cleaning, new plugs, and fluids. Don't remember if anything else was included Not really sure if this is a good price but all I can say is GOTT DAMN !!! Where did I put that damn Haynes maual

I do remember reading that this is not ideal for woods riding because of what Yamaholic wrote but hey what do I know, am just an "rookie" I would like to hear from any fellas .... hmmm or ladies that ride trails and have gotten the flywheel mod

don't have the TORS crap hooked up so that's definitely out of the question, but My stator did fall within specs but i haven't tried swapping CDI unit yet . Don't think my friend would like that idea though
