I just saw photo of Scotts stabilizer on the Blue Duce's Shee. Does this help much. It sure looks trick. I have Scotts that I switch back and forth between dirt bikes and it is a very big help on two wheelers in sand and rocks.

Have you removed the pilot jets and blown them clean. From your description doesn't sound like this was done. Very common problem from setting too long or some contamination in gas. These must be clean for easy starting and idleing.

I'll be 64 next week and will be going again in a few months when this knee heels up from my KTM get off. Should know better by now but like I've said before, life is short and then-----------

Are you doing this because you really want to help out your relative or because you wanted to get a good deal on the Shee. Be honest with yourself. If you were trying to get a good deal then reconsider and walk away right now. Write off the one years payments as a lost cause and consider it tuition for lesson learned. If you really feel obligated to help out that is a different matter. You will have to face all the previously mentioned title legal issues plus you may have to face a seriously crazy child molester and possibly worse when he gets out. Seriously, that could be a major problem that I wouldn't wish on anyone. The law can't always protect the innocent from the seriously crazy. And you may not want to take on the role of the big protector. The courts are regularly letting real bad boys out of prison early.

I think you might change your mind with a little more time that "she needs to be ridden" in any particular way. And I am sure there are more cautious Banshee riders around here than just me. You can get hurt just as dead on a cushy Preditor. It ain't the ride, it's the rider that causes the problem. I sincerely hope you will reconsider and keep your ride. Then learn to win the war against taking poor risks. Your family can accept this if you can. Have fun. Live it up. Life is short and then we are dead for a very long time. I hope you don't think I am being a smart ass, but only trying to help a friend.

Never done it but since no one jumped in here, there is good info here at Banshee HQ. Click on downloads, click on FAQ's, click on jetting, scroll down to "eliminate TORS". Lots of good info here on both TORS removal and idle adjust install. This may keep you going until the experts jump in. I will be removing parking brake, removing TORS, and converting to twist throttle so I have been studying this subject also.

Is there any noticable performance difference between the GBC Dune Tracker single rib front and the ITP Sandstar dual rib front. Just from appearance, the Dune Tracker looks more durable because the single rib is bigger than the two smaller ribs on Sandstar. Is this true? And what about the GBC Shark Fin non-continuous single rib. Any advantages? Need a little education before getting my first sand tires. Answer to this question may help me deceide what brand of "V" style rear paddle to buy and from whom. May get all 4 tires/wheels from same place and the same brand.

I hate: 1. Bums who are too ignorant and lazy to clean up their campsite. 2. Picking up garbage after the above mentioned bums, but I always do. 3. Running out of brews or ice in middle of great campfire BS session. 4. Running out of gas more than 1/2 mile from camp. 5. Fools who bum a test ride on your new ride and then dump it. 6. Myself for letting above arsses get near my stuff.

Here is a first time Banshee owner saying Hi to ya all. I have been hanging out on this site for several weeks trying to deceide if a Banshee will fit my needs. I have been riding 2-stroke dirt bikes for many years but I am essentially new to quads. My primary use to begin with will be easy dune areas and easy forest roads and trails. So I finally deceided why not jump right in and get something I can really have fun with so here I am with a Banshee. If it turns out to be too much of a handfull I can always go back to my 2nd choice, one of the 400 4-strokes. I found a like new blue 2000 with FMF Gnarly pipes and Turbine Core II silencers. Otherwise, including the air box, it is totally stock. Owner never even pulled off the warning stickers. I will be looking for a deal on sand tires and wheels. Also need to make sure the jetting was corrected for the pipes. Need to check out the air box and should be good to go. I won't be good to go for several more months until my broken leg and knee joint heal and rehab from a Dec dirt bike get off. The many posts about using the Banshee for trail riding were a big help in my final decision. Thanks to all who have contributed to this site. I now know that after a little learning curve the Banshee can be used for more than sand drags and oval racing. John

FYI on www.fmfracing.com they now list banshee fatty and gnarly pipes as being chrome plated.
