Hey guys, I too live on Long Island, Port Jefferson actually..I agree that from just reading this thread, it is easy to tell who is from Long Island, and who is not. Long Island is so heavily populated now, there are no areas of open land that arent controlled by private owners or government, and anything that is has already been cleared out by cops. For example, I was riding in that spot behind the welfare office building(its a pretty big sandy type of area) when a suburban drove through, right as a I was launching off of a jump. They obviously saw me and others riding, so they went out to their trailor, got on their quads and came and stopped everyone. Fortunatly, I was talking to my dad when they showed up on the quads, so technically they couldn't take my bike for riding on private owned land...unfortuntly, the other 4 guys that were riding got their bikes taken away, with a 500 dollars fine to get them back. This is getting out of hand, the only legal riding spot around is the Yaphank Motocross Track, which is packed to no end. Luckily for me, I am moving to Texas this summer(Dallas/Ft.Worth for that matter) and will hopefully have better luck there. If anyone knows of any good spots to ride around that area, it would be greatly appreciated, thanks

well guys in some cases i agree, some disagree...I'f you are riding with another person in a car, I feel that "its only affecting me" isn't true at all for a few reasons, such as 1) your friend can get a ticket for you not wearing one, and 2) its a rare occasion, but does happen...if you get in an accident and arent wearing a seatbelt, your body can become a flying object which can strike the other persons in the car..but once again, this is pretty rare...

i wrestled this year(sophmore) and went 21-4 until i tore both anterior and posterior labrums in my right shoulder...that ended my season prretty quick

haha i dont put them on my bike, i just like having a collection...one of those stupid things that u can get urself into...and yes i know, stickers do add hp and top speed, so there is no need to tell me the obvious

hey guys, i was on the motocross.com forum and i came across a thread that people were saying how you can e-mail companies and get stickers from them if you told them you were interested in their product and wanted stickers gor your bike etc..well i figured id try it out, so i email sobe energy drinks, and let me tell ya...i just got a nice sobe folder filled with stickers, nicew ones i might add, and also a few coupons for free energy drinks...i have heard of people getting 500+ stickers in their collection from simply emailing diff companies...thought id let you guys know, i think its pretty cool and if your not in it for the stickers, u can get some free drinks
