  1. i seens an ad in the paper for a 98 banshee. it said it was ported and polished, is porting an engine and pistons like that last thing you do when it on its "last leg" or no? i was looking for unmodified engine but this one sounds like it might be a good deal. it has many extras an is going for 2600.
  2. i saw an ad in the paper, a 91 banshee that deasont run and is missing the rear brake caliper. its a kid who is probably about 18 and is not the orignal owner. i havent gone to check it out yet. hes about 2 hours away. he said it just stoped workin before the winter so he got the pistons and rings replaced. wich is funny because if he got that done why didnt he just get it working? lol. its got few after market parts on it, pouder coated frame "yellow". he want 1500 but i was going to make an offer for 1200. does this sould like a bad price for something that isnt running? i know you cant really make a good judgment by that but... what i wanted to know is when i go there i wanna try to do some testing on it to see if it could actually be fixed. whats the most amount of money these repairs could cost? is it better to just not even bother. what can i test for? also i seen that some one here is selling a stator, light plugs,di box,the silver box the coil, the kill switch, and a flywheel and a few other things for 200. its from a 97 banshee, would this stuff fit on a 91? or could i get the part, or parts i need cheaper? lot of questions but any information would be great. links and books are also good. thanks
  3. how about $100 ?
  4. [email protected] could you take a few pictures?
  5. why you selling it?
  6. i posted this in general discussion because more people visit that part. i know you guys are probably not a fan of this. hello everyone. im new here but have been riding a timberwolf for about 7 years. im thinking about buying a banshee. i need some advise on what you guys think would be a good price. i seen a ad in the paper the other day. 2002 yamaha banshee. it had about 35 hours of use. all stock, came with a trailer. a set of $100 rims. only a few scratches and well taken care of. im thinking once i sell off the rims and the trailor i might get it for about $3000. does this not sound like a deal or should i keep waitin for a better deal? im really not in a hurry to buy one right away. i really dont have a whole lot to spend. any advise would be great, thanks
