  1. well i just painted my pipes in ceramic high heat paint ill keep you guys poasted on how long it takes to rust though. my guess would be about 6 months but ill be sure to let yall know if it peal;s off on the first ride or not. peace

  3. how do i go about taking a couple links of my chain? my axel is all the way to the back of the swing arm and it still floats around/ is there an easy way to remover links or do i need to go through the whole process of buying a new one and installing it that way? thanks
  4. i was thinking about how i can cure my paint on my exhaust pipes. and i came up with 2 easy solutions. 1. throught it on the bike and let it run for a while untill it hardens up. or 2. try to put it in the oven ( yes it fits) i was hinking about putting it in the oven at 200 degrees to let it cure for the recomended time. is it possable? has anyone ever trye this? is it the same as a kiln or what? as long as the paint doesnt set on fire then i think i would be golden. thanks
  5. did you buy this used or new? if you bought it new then maybe its a clogged get. if you bought it used maybe one piston is borded and the other one aint. maybe one of them has different jets in it. new spark plugs, new gas, the slides are going up syncronized, idel speed is the same. muffler is attached properly( one side doesnt have a big hole in it while the other is as tight as a 10 year old) compression is the same. run those test and let us know whats goin on .
  6. on the carb with the choke. on the bottom of it is what you call a floater bowl. its just the bottom most part of the carberator. look on side facing the engine. there should be a brass little ball. just make sure its on that carb and not the other. though your engine probably wont start like this. but mine did when i bought it and the choke wouldnt stay out. just double check that. if not that id say make sure its not oily and make sure it doesnt smell like gas, if it does you might be leaking gas from there. if that the case you will need to replace the gasket on that choke peice. or it could just be the put side gaskett. its not really a big deal i ont think. as long as thers no gas leeking out. peace
  7. yes i tryed to stomp the crap out of it but the seal is really tight. the place i was talkin to ants to charge me over 20. just for taking a tire off 2 rims and putting one of them back on. well i try it one more time but i think im gonna have to have it done for me. thanks
  8. i want to change my front tires. can i do this with a flat bar or is it better to give it to the stealership? id rather try and do it my self but i tryed for like 10 minutes or so and didnt know how to do it. anyone ever done it?

    Tail Light

    my banshee is black and blue, i wanted to get a brake lite that is a deep blue color. does any one know where i can find one? i diont have the tail light assembly so im gona have to get the whole light too. any one have a different color brake light?
  10. when i go riding on trails there i live, there is a little pond where i live that i have to cross. with my farther 4 joke its no problem. its probably 1.5 feet deep. is it safe to go though this or should i go around? its a lot of fun goin through water this deep because if it stalls or you get cought on somethin you gota swimm, lol. i can go around bu its full of rocks and crap that i will destroy my skid plates if i go though. the other option is to go around it but that riding on the road witch i wanted to avoid. though i could smoke a cop car no problem because thgere is enless trails. just wanted to know if im gonna fry somethin or cause me bearing seals to go to $(-)!t.

  13. today i put my frame up on blocks and ran it in first gear at idel speed to see if the axel was bent. the good news is that it wasnt. the bad news is that when i pulled the clutch to go to first gear the wheels where spinning even with the clutch held in. but when you ride it you have to let go ov the clutch about half way it starts to let go, so its not like its worn on that part. is this normal? i assume that its not. is there a way to see if it needs an adjustment or replaced? id like to know before i start stripping my gears out. any tips or suggestions welcome. thank you
  14. its hard to beleive no one has ever painted there exhaust systems. does anyone know what heat range im looking for? the highest iv seen it like 1500 is that not high enough?
  15. i dont really wanna get a new throttle cable just yet. but when i hit the throttle it goes in about a quarter of the way before the slack gets tighend and the slides go up. the adjustment cable on the handle bars is all the way adjusted. is there another one maybe inside the tors tops things. i dont think its normal to have this much slack but i know there should be some, so if it get twisted on a tree branch and pulls the cables and the fuckin this takes off in to a tree. lol, ohh man that would suck for sure. what do you think i should do?
  16. i wanna paint my fattys. i can prep them no problem i got all the tools. i was just wondering though is there a paint you can buy that wont flakle off or is all paint gonna flake off adventually? i wanna get some [aint where the only thing that takes it off is a grinding stone. is my paint out there or so i have to get a degree in nuclier science and come up with my own. and if anmyone has done it before how long did it last?.

  18. best bet is to go to a R/C forums and try to sell it there where there are people there really interested in it. you will sell it a lot faster too. im gonna sell my traxxas stampede. this goes like 45. fast as shit but i just never use it and would like the extra couple hundered or so dollars for it. peace
  19. another float bowl problem. lol. started on the 6th kick. its not pulling the the right any more either. i swear the guy i bought it from is a idiot. the on the lower part of the axil where it bults to the swing arm, there was no nut on that bult and the bolt was half hanging out. lol at least it starts now. now my next fixing will be to the clutch. i think its just worn or needs some tightening. thanks for your help guys.
  20. keep it simple stupid. lol the carb floater bowls were switched around. started right up on the sixth kick. now its just a matter of fine tuning the carbs witch is my favoret part. thanks for all your help guys.
  21. i have cleaned the carbs, new gas, its got spqrk, its got air, its got compression. its just not running. i dont under stand. if you guys could refer to my post in the jetting forum and maybe post what you think might be the problem i would appreciate it. and the reeds look like there ok. i dont know what to do with these carbs, its just not workin.
  22. so where is that pilot jet located? do i have to take the carbs off to clean them out? im sure some one must know this question?
  23. will i need to buy new gaskets when i take this thing apart to find out if its broken or not? let me know im gonna rip it apart again tonight. do i have to take the carbs off to do this? and could someone please explain to me where the pilot get is located? i really dont wanna take the cables from that tors thing off.
  24. is 93 octane too much with 32:1 ratio of oil? thats what i did just wondering if its gonna over heat the engine. thanks
  25. what i dont have connected is the tors electrical unit, the wires are cut on it, but it started the other day and now its not, so i dont think thats the problem, could it be? it should run anyways though right?
