I may be doing the same same thing here in the next couple weeks with a couple people. Want to get the bike in good condition for the season. If it happens to be on that weekend Ill let ya know.
I recently changed to a lonestar axle and I cant seem to get the stock ones to hold anymore. They come loose after every ride. I was just wondering what some of you guys running aftermarket axles are using?
I would rather run the stockers. I once had a pair, many crashes ago. They were the only pair of bars I've owned that only took one roll to bend. I run pro tapers now, much stronger.
It will make cornering a hell of a lot better. Plus it lowers the stance a bit. I just got mine done before the last trip and boy, what a difference it makes.
Well its just a wire for the brake light, you should be able to get rid of it. Is it pluged in or is it hard wired to the perch. I have an 04 and mine does not have this extra wire. My tail light comes on when I hit the back brake. ???I think???
One should be your brake line, the other is a throttle and another is for the tors crap. If I am corect there should be three wires there when brand new. If your talking about the tors wire, go ahead and remove it if you have unpluged your tors
I've heard a cheap way to do it is to fill it with water and cap the ends and freeze it if possible. The water will expand and hopefully take the dent out. Never tried it with a shee pipe, but it has worked with my rc car pipes.
