  1. does'nt it just fit in one of the 3 holes that stock one mounts to. I know only one hole has threads so you would have to get a bolt and nut.
  2. You just a good grip on the wires and give them a real good tug, and walaa. Use the search button and you will find numerous posts on this very same question.
  3. For all you guys out there with +2 or +3 a-arms. What brand of brake line do you guys use? Or what kind would you recommend? Have any of you guys heard of streamline?
  4. HA HA HA!!! On a serious note, I have heard that their heads have been gettin kinda big with their name being all out there and all. I have never delt with them personally but know people that have, and they have not had the best experience with them.
  5. Pro tapers all the way bro. Best fellin bar I've put on my bike. They are a bit pricey though because you have to throw on a 1 1/8 bar adapter
  6. Well the only thing I can recomend then is to cut the lip off a bit so they still look stock. Cut about two inches off of the edge so it has a trimmed look. Had mine that way for a while and it looked ok, but I nedded a more drastic look than stock so I went with the race cut.
  7. There is not a whole lot you can do with the stock bansh fenders man. you either have race cuts or you can cut the whole thing off or you can do a flame job. Just use your imagination and see what you come up with, and when you come up with something original take a pic and let us see. Mine are race cut and I really like the way they look, I guess its just my prefrence.
  8. Its a real bitch, I hate doing it. You have to undo all the bolts(4) and remove the overflow of course, and push it foward toward the carbs and lift it out. Tip- loosen the screws on the carb boots on the carb side only so when you remove the air box it still has the boots connected to the air box. This will make easier to reinstall the box when you are ready to.
  9. Mine does the same thing after a good ride, but it does not seem to be running bad at all. Still has full power and pulls hard as hell and is jetted right. It seems to fall on the upper right a-arm.
  10. Plan on no engine work then get the t-6,s. Thats just what they are made for. If you are gonna do some porting and stuff like that then get t-5,s.
  11. Its a good $450 more for the rezzys. $450 with out and about $900 with the rezzys. So basicly I was just wondering if it will be worth the extra $450. Thats basicly a whole new set of shocks.
  12. Well guys, I have a question for ya. Elka makes a new dune edition shock and I was just wonderin if I should get them with or without the rezzys. I am no pro rider by any means but I do ride the bike pretty hard. I pretty much only ride dunes so I know this is the shock that would work best for me. I dont know if it matters but I weigh 241 pounds and am going to get them for +2+1 a-arms from Quicksand. If any of you guys have any insight on this matter let me know if I would even be able to tell a difference between the two not being a pro rider and all.
  13. Cool thing is, is that you can paint them any color you want under them. You could do a bitchin chrome or a fade or whatever you wanted.
  14. Thanks very much. I will prolly give him a call here pretty soon for some work. Thanks Jared
  15. In Cali look to spend about $5900 plus tax, title and license.
  16. Kinda looks like there would be some good sand riding in the top of that thing. To bad its about to blow
  17. Most likely your carb float is sticking. Take the carbs out and clean them completley and reinstall. They should work fine after that. Also try tapping that carb with something and see if it comes loose.
  18. 100 #s and 12 years old on a banshee. WOW! Dont spend the money on that, they are dan near worthless. Spend the money on a milled head or something.
  19. Just wondering if any of you guys on here Know of any good chromers in San Diego or SoCal for that matter. If so let me know.
  20. To tell you the honest truth, I hate working on my shee, I allways think how fun it will be to polish something up or what not, then I start and I'm like, WTF did I get myself into. On the other hand, I love helping my friends with there bike because I know I can leave anytime i want to and not have to worry about having a bike in piecies in my garage.
