  1. Yea they make banshee pipes, Damn good mid pipes too. Go to there site at duncanracing.com
  2. Yep, thats a little to hot for me man. If it was any cooler I'd put my bike back together and go out there. sounds like fun, but its just to damn hot without a toy hauler with air conditioning.
  3. Go to meats site, he has a torque guide for al bolts that need torque.
  4. Is it gonna be hot out there of what?
  5. Sounds like you need to play with that jetting first. Your pipes should definitly not be glowing bright red, especially at night.
  6. In san diego they are marked 5999$. So out the door for less than 6500$ is not a bad price, here.
  7. I dont ride in mud or water and still keep my air box on. In your case I would definitly keep that box on, and maybee even the lid. Water is not going to stay out that air filter, its made to filter air not water and mud. I'm shure one of the trail riders will come in soon and let you know more.
  8. Revalve and spring the rear.
  9. I think your impellor is more for a safty stand point that if it did get to hot that it would not melt.
  10. Did you use a screwdriver with a flat tip. A philips with a real blunt tip.
  11. Get the aftermarket chain sliders if you dont already.
  12. Looks cool, but all you need is one clean K&N (pre oiled of course) and pre filter and your fine. Still yet to find one speck of sand in my air box.
  13. All these questions all have to do with how hard you ride. Do rip up every hill you see, are you pegged in every gear possible for long periods of time. If you keep the bike stock and just cruise around and do your maintenance regularly, that motor could last you a long time. If I'm not mistaken I think someone on here said there wife has had her banshee for 13 years without a single rebuild. My guess is she proly does not ride it to often.
  14. Depends on how long it takes for gas to get into carbs after a long sit. With gas in carbs it usually takes from 1 to 2 kicks and I'm off.
  15. Will that thing plug into the stock thumb throttle case?
  16. What did that thing run ya? I guess I could look myself, But that would require more pointing and clicking and I'm to lazy for that.
  17. LOL Thats pretty funny man. Good thing hes got a banshee then. He might get ran down by a croc if he was on a 400 ex.
  18. Thats the prob over there Meat, No one respects a mans knowledge whos been doin this for a while. Your site has taught me alot about my bike and I appreciate alot meat. Over there it seems to be a bunch of punk kids talkin crap about each other. Not a whole lot to learn in that kind of enviroment. Well like you said just stay away and keep your info over here where it belongs.
  19. How much mula krazy?
  20. Oh yea, dont wheelie that high anymore. Its gonna be weaker now that you have bent it back.
  21. Nicely said meat. Nicely said.
  22. Hence the name ranshee. I did that to mine and it looked like a raptor with the fenders all bent up so we called it the ranshee. Just take the plastics and stuff off to get to the frame. Take some torches and heat it up. Put a piece of wood across the two bars and bang it back till its straight. Let it cool natrually and when its cool just paint it with a matching paint.
  23. I said it once and I'll say it again, call toomey and get a TORS REMOVAL KIT!!
  24. If your talking about the tors crap, there is tons of threads on this just search this site. To make it quick just call toomey and ask for tors removal kit. Comes with caps, cable and idel screws(sorry about spelling) and some really good instructions. Or just unplug them from the bike.
  25. Banshee Banshee Banshee And maybee a yfz 450. Its a tough race for fourth between the banshee and the yfz 450.
