    Look in the product reviews section. It could see a little less wire, sure. This is a pulse weld. I assure you that these welds are strong. TIG takes too long/ adds too much cost. I can TIG any upon request but the price will be higher. Lets keep this thread on subject.

    Actually they have been used with other covers, but you may have to modify the bolt head (via grinder, whatever) to match the profile of a different brand aluminum stator cover. I still have 3 on the shelf and when I run out I can always make more!
