hahahah, no my stupid buddy jinxed me! I was braggin how this motor has run flawless for 4 years, then I got cocky with it as usual, and finally blew it up... My buddy said (that will be the end of that motor today), 10 minutes later, no joke...No big deal, its only .040 over, and could probobly use a rebuild anyways. Nothin like building 2 bikes at once! Nope, my old trusty stock stroke...... Time for a fresh top end!

Well, we had an absolute blast this weekend.... Except for the fact I blew mine up in the first 10 minutes! Did it to myself, freewheeled it on the ice trying to get unctuck in the snow! DOH! We spent most of the day and night exploring the woods on the 4x4's....damn those 4x4's are they way to go!

Cant wait to see the final product. Im putting 110% in to make a nice piece to fill that grille shell!!!! Thanks for being a stand-up guy, this is something to be remembered for years to come! :beer:

Weve got 5 solid inches now, and its cold as hell... The ice is very hard.. We are studdin up the bikes tomorrow, and should have 4-5 banshees on the lake. Ill post vids for all you guys who are apprehensive to the ice.... The cracking is normal, and just nature telling you to get out there and have fun! Be safe!! -JD

My lake is like glass... My buddy and I skated a lot of the lake to check it out and its pretty much perfect!

Alright, the Ice is safe and its time to RIP! So far, we have about 4-5 banshees that are going out on Long Lake. It is located in Union, MI right off of US-12. Feel free to email me at [email protected]. We plan on drag racing, maybe oval racing, Ice hockey, Ice fishing, and maybe get a keg for when the riding is done. The anticipation is killing me Dave, we have a perfect strip right off of our beach! I saw a sled out there today, but I think im guna wait until next weekend. Maybe ill take my buddies bike out there to test it lol...

OK, we have about 4" of solid ice right now on our lake. I am SO tempted to go riding, but personally I like to see at least 6". What have u guts ridden on/consider safe for riding? I figure its roughly 600lbs, with me on the bike at 200lbs. 3of us were standing in a circle tonight fishing with no problems (about 600lbs) which makes me want to ride even more! What do yall think?

There is a gasket on there, at least with the aftermarket petcocks.. U can always use a silicon gasket maker, it works just fine with mine..
