The Vitos is kit is the poor mans big bore. There are better quality/performance kits avalible. Send your buddy over to www.BlasterHQ.com . Even though theres a large amount of kids on there, theres a few older guys who really know thier stuff.

You cannot use a 3 jaw puller or any other puller besides the ones Otis and boonman described. I bought one on ebay and the peice of shit stripped out on me first time using it... bought the MotionPro next and it's worked flawlessly

I've had great luck with letting penetrating oil do its penetrating then hitting the head in the center with a small punch a few times.

Anodizing retains heat as well, but most likely not be as much as PC.
