hi guys i was wondering if i could port my new piston to my cylinder, has anybody done this before and what can i expect from this. any help would be appriciated, thanks in advance.
SURE YOU COULD YOU JUST HAVE TO ADJUST THE CHAIN,BUT ITS BETTER TO CHANGE BOTH SPROCKETS AND CHAIN AT THE SAME TIME. IT DEPENDS ON HOW WORN THE OLD ONES ARE,IF NOT TO BAD YOU WILL BE FINE.
ARE THE TORS UNPLUGED IF NOT UNPLUG AT BOTH CARBS,WIRE AT THROTLE, AND THERE IS A LITTLE BLACK BOX UNDER THE FRONT HOOD BY THE RADIATOR NOT SURE RIGHT OR LEFT BUT IT HAS THREE WIRES THIS NEEDS TO BE UNPLUGED ALSO. IF YOUR PROBLEM GOES AWAY IT'S THE TORS UNIT,IT MAY BE STICKING.LET US KNOW HOW YOU MAKE OUT.
DUDE THE CARBS WILL WORK, I HAVE A 87 WITH 2002 CARBS(EBAY) MINE RUNS GREAT. NOT SURE ON WHAT SIZE DRILL BIT BUT ON THE SIDE OF THE CARBS YOU NEED TO DRILL A HOLE AND TAP THREADS IN IT SO THE IDLE SREWS WILL SCREW IN TO SET YOUR IDLE.THE TORS UNIT SETS THE IDLE,GETTING RIDE OF THAT MEANS YOU HAVE TO INSTALL THIS KIT WITCH IS EASY.LET US KNOW HOW YOU MAKE OUT.
i have gold series and like them alot, not sure about t-5s never tried them but heard they are awsome.i know fmf is a all around good pipe the call is yours , good luck
