You can try putting it into gear and using the rear brake while you loosen the nut, you need the puller to get it off the crank though.

Got any pictures of the rear tires? How much are you looking to get shipped to 11713?

My buddies quad runs for about 2 minutes and then dies. Then you have to let it sit for 10 min before it will start again. I cleaned the carb throughly, changed the plug and checked float adjustment. It ran well for the day and next day back to the same problem. The fact that it runs for 2-3 minutes then dies and needs 10 min to recoupe leads me to believe its a problem related to fuel. Does anyone have a suggestion?

Thats correct, they both fire at the same time, you can switch them and it will not make a difference.

Oil is cheap, dont reuse it like that.

Theres a product made specifically for removing old gaskets called "Gasket Remover" . Real nasty stuff in an aresol can but works well.
