  1. But what about piston sticking UP into the exhaust port at BDC? That was the scenario I had in mind when I asked what was the significance.
  2. I guess that would get me close enough. When I had measured before I used a small set that fit into the bore. It was at a builders shop. Thank you sir.
  3. Brandon, Do you have a link to some calipers that fit in the cylinder or do you just cut a set down? I need to double check some things in another motor. I usually just use a degree wheel, but this motor is apart. Edit: I think I found some on Amazon that are only about 60 mm wide so nevermind.
  4. Hmmmm. I may have to revisit some things on one of mine that I think may have this issue. I was told it didn't matter. ..and I guess I just believed that and went on.
  5. What is the significance of the piston edge being flush with the bottom of the ports at BDC? I have seen motors where that is not the case. One of them may have had issues, I don't recall.
  6. Translation: I Would Say Fuck You But Fuckin Why Bother You Might Win Mother Fucker. I dunno..
  7. WGAF. A couple of pot plants. Not at all the worse thing that is on this site for kids to see/read.
  8. Sounds like you'll get it figured out. Tons of info in SlowerThanYou clutch tuning thread. We don't mess with clutch much on dirt due to inconsistencies, but it's a must on asphalt if you wanna run to full potential.
  9. I don't know why it wouldn't work for asphalt. I have an orange one that I wouldn't run without changing the camber/castor but I would think this one is fine.
  10. Surely someone is upgrading and will want to trade. I have some T5s on my stocker and love them.
  11. I concede that it doesn't hurt to try a ground strap if it helps troubleshoot a problem. You're right in that it's easy and simple and lots of folks do it. I don't deem it necessary, but I won't continue to argue against it. [emoji106]
  12. How about $60 shipped? I'm not sure of the year model. It has to be at least 5 years old.
  13. Thanks man. I was skeptical and I knew you'd know.
  14. Do you think I can run a 521 Super Cub in the 1/8th with no pump?
  15. Where the hell have you been!!!
  16. This bish ain't like dat!
  17. You want to use it then send it back? Or buy it? Everytime I sell something I end up wanting it back down the road! But I seriously doubt I'll ever start any project with that frame.
  18. Thats an excellent idea. I wish I wouldn't have sold all my other trail friendly stuff. I was gonna try to get her to ride that Cub but it's not at all ridable. Spins like a mofo everywhere.
  19. Is this YFZ or Craptor? I don't remember which this is.
  20. Well I tried to ride my Cub in the field and down the road. I have no idea how people ride these outside of full on drag race on sand with paddles. Light switch power doesn't do it justice. I used to ride a Cub some, but it was race gas, inframes, and stock tranny. Much more tame. I just want more powa out of my trail bike. Prolly even leave T5s and stock carbs on it.
  21. I may have one. I was digging in the attic the other day. I'll check it out today.
  22. Want 421 Serval Cyls. Will trade 421 Cub cyls. Also need promod transmission.
  23. In 300 ft racing with an unknown or new build if I have time a may gear a little low and see what mph it runs. Then I know what rpm it is turning at the traps. From there I re gear to what I think is the correct mph for that particular setup.
