  1. Cascade gets my vote. They also answer all there e-mails. You get tracking no# about 15 mins after order has been placed. Top notch products.
  2. One more thing to check after your brake-in. Retorque your cylinder base nuts you be surprise how they loosen. Do it when the engine cold. You said it starts better when it's hot one kick. The metal has expanded making the motor air tight. Since you got the torque wrench out do the head. Just one more thing to check off the list.
  3. 87sheerips >He's got some nice grills, Just got mine today. Thanks man. Great service
  4. IMO You have to stop cold turkey. No cheating. NONE, or your not going to stop. Cold turkey it all the way. You guys could do this.
  5. Check your steel plates see if their warped. Clutch plates got hot & warped them. That will cause it to creep.
  6. You can do it. Its been 90 days for me. It cost me at todays priceses $ 300.00 a month to smoke. $10.00 a day plus. Hang in their. I know it's hard. Just think with the money you save what you can do to your bike. That will help you stop.
  7. They help maintain the same chain tension no matter were the swingarm position is, and your chain rides on bearings no sliders. When you first get them you have to line them up. The propper way to line them up is with a chain alignment tool coming off the rear sprocket with pionter or a straight edge. You may have to cut or shime the spacers that come with it. If you like pulling wheelies it's harder to do so. Because of the fulcrum piont is at the upper roller. So thats way it's harder to pull wheelies. The ones that rdz, james lucky sell that comes off the bottom roller at the frame with the spring are junk. Had one on my three wheeler. IMO I'll take amp link. I see some amp links on e-bay that weren't lined up properly that are shot all to hell because they weren,t lined up the correct way. I had mine since 97 the rollers they show some wear but not bad for replacement. all & all great item IMO. They keep the front end down.
  8. New Hampshire Go to http://www.nhatv.com. It's legal if you register, $80.00 a year. Season starts in May ends in Nov. Old amtrack train tracks have been removed on some of the places that they have to offer. The straight-a-ways are miles long & flat groomed. NO dirt bikes atv's only. Ive already been their. Check -it-out. Great place to ride.
  9. I'd like to try one. Alot of people say pain -in the ass to set it up. Need dail indicator to find tdc to set the timing. also they say they work better on the smaller bores 350. I P.M. a few people over at planetsand about them, their stating that I'm better off using all stock ignition on the motor that I have. But still curiosity always gets me. I have the dial indicator with adaptor for the spark plug hole. That's as far as I got. I pulled the plug on this prodject after p.m. few pepole on this ignition. They say it just ain't worth it. But still like to try one.
  10. I just installed a set BBore cpi's on my bike this afternoon. I had no problem what-so-ever. I used the same .750 spacer I had up front for hangers It cleared everything. Frame , Head the pipes ain't hitting anything. I have plenty of room changing plugs. Plenty room to shut the fuel off. So I not shure what you guy's are talking about. I had no problem with BIG BORES. It might be tight to do a jet change though. But I can live with it. I'll pull both carbs out to do a jet change, no biggy.
  11. I got to say something here> Leave this for the pros who ever they are. DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME. I seen this at the drags back in the 60's & they weren't 2 strokes. The pic's that Ive posted motor was built by famous engine builder that I will not mention. We all no him very well. Also not sure if he had anything to do with wrapping the pipes. So please delete this out of your mind. It's just something different to talk about than a boost bottle ...period...
  12. Very thin layer of dielectric silicone for electronic ignitions (most auto stores) sells this.
  13. Pictures, Click on banshee appearance forum, under wrapping exaust, pictures of turbocharged banshee
  14. These pipes are wraped on a tubo charge banshee check this out. Does this answer the question about wrap pipes
  15. first time uploading images....sorry picturs are from sand sport mag
  16. Yes these guys may-be correct on that, but back in the earlier days 60's 70's super stock gassers it was common practice to wrap the headers. I remember this when we use to go to the drags over her in conn dragway. I use to go every weekend. Now I go to englishtown nhra PowerAid nationals every year. Theirs not one pro-stock with wrap headers. Their a reason why they don't. That's why I said it's a old racers trick. But that's why they did it the engine would pull harder. Porbably back then the headers were cast-iron. Today there made from 4130 can't take the heat (melt-down)
  17. It's a old drag racer's trick, wrapping the headers with asbestos <(spelling) wrap . It retaines the heat in the pipes so the motor will pull harder. Do it & reply back to us

    t-rex?

IMO your better off with a cheetah.
  19. I'm bad when it comes to punctuation. I went to trade school not high school. When most of you had english I had blue-print reading. Grammer school I Fu---- off. I also didn't have typing in trade school. I learn how to type write here on BHQ. Shit the calculator wasn't even invented yet when I was in school. I should change my profile name from lonestar to OLD SCHOOL. Also, I didn't pick lonestar my wife did. She signed me in as a member, she didn't know it was a company's name. So how did I do just in these few sentences for punctuation. Any repleys. Go a head I'm ready.
  20. Same here, but mine will be for sale soon
  21. When I had mine, Harry from trinity built mine himself. Stage 2 porting with he's stage IV pipes & 35pwk. His stage iv head 19cc domes. With wiseco pro lites. He set everything up himself. I shipped the motor to them. They got the motor in 6 days. He called me ask me what type of ridding i plan on doing. I told him a fun bike all round type ridding. I'll set you up with my best selling kit. I'll be doing the porting. I got the motor back in the frame in 18 days. This Fu---- bike flew. This bike was like a ROCKET. I went through 4 bore's with this motor I still have the bottom end. Keeping it for a spare tranny for the motor I have now. This motor got me what I have today. I was bitten. Who ever say's that the 2into1 don't rev & don't rev on top this motor DID.
