  3. hey guys, thinking of taking my passion 4mil to the 1/4 mile strip. right now i have 15/40 gearing. i was looking into a longer swingarm and maybe some new sprockets....what gear should i run? any idea on what it should do 1/4 mile wise?
  4. hey looking to pick up a set of rims/tires for the 1/8 & 1/4 mile strip...anyone have any? also looking to maybe pick up an extended swingarm...maybe +4ish?
  5. Hey guys, decided to grab a brand new craftsman compression gauge. hooked up the 14mm long adapter (matched the plug length) and kicked it cold with the throttle wide open about 7-8 times. results were about 220psi on each cylinder. now from reading everyone elses this seems really high. build includes +4 timing, 4mill passion 12 port motor w/ spacer, 19cc domes on straight c12. what do you guys think?

  8. i sent you a pm with my numbers earlier. i will be around any time tomorrow to pass by. cash in hand with an empty trailer.
  9. its not that i dont love riding it, it just seems that all we have been riding is tight trails and the handling/weight of the 250 seems to do better.
  10. ok so i have a passion 4 mill, ever since i got my 250r, i really dont take out the banshee anymore. theres just no place to open it up and ride it how it should be ridden. i was thinking of 3 options: sell it/part it out, invest a little more and have a dedicated drag bike, or maybe take the motor/main parts and try and put it in a yfz frame. now im not a welder, so i would need help if i wanted to do the yfz frame dedicated drag bike would hardly ever get used around here if i sell it i will never get what i put into it and take a big hit
  11. you think its ok for a trail bike? i see alot of you have dunes in you sig...
  12. i have ran maxima 75wt in my shee since the rebuild. Shifts pretty good although it will not go into neutral while running. soon as it shuts down it will pop right in. i even tried revving it to free up the plates but no help. jim from passion racing recommended atf type f but i had a bunch of the maxima left over so i used it. now i picked up a 250r and need to do a fluid change and am torn on what to put in there. i dont mind doing more fluid changes if it means better shifting/more protection. the 250 is a trail bike and the shee is my open field/play bike.
  13. ok guys, i just picked up an old popup to use as a utility / atv trailer. the decking was shot but the frame was ok so i grabbed it for 200 bucks. the frame is 7x11 and the old plywood floor was about 7 x 9.5. there is a small portion on the rear that was not decked. anyway, i have to redeck the floor. the trailer isnt thw strongest thing in the world, it seems to have a little flex to it. i take it to be that the floor is rotted and is not giving much support. i have already thrown a piece of plywood on top and hauled my shee and a buds yfz with no problem so i know it will hold. my main question is what should i use for decking? a few sheets of new plywood? or would 2x10s running long ways be stronger? maybe use a 3/4" plywood base and 1 1/2 inch deck boards? never buit a trailer. thanks
  14. ok my R's plastics are a little rough..i want to keep them the same color but want to get those scratches out and bring some shine back. so far my research has gave me a few options what do you think is the best way to do this?: wet sand in steps up to 2000 grit, clean then clearcoat plastics wet sand in steps up to 2000 grit, clean, then paint the same color wet sand in steps up to 2000 grit, clean, then use maxima sc1 plastic shiner wet sand in steps up to 2000 grit, clean, then polish with mothers polish also, i see people use bulldog promoter...is this only for paint or would i do it for clearing? any ideas?
