I'm actually just guessing and I don't know if the difference would be very noticeable but I would say that you may get a little more reed life if you slide the stop all the way up to high tension, and you would get a little more performance with the stop all the way down on low tension. OR, high tension may give you a little better high rpm performance and low tension would give you better low to mid rpm performance. <---- I'm thinking the second guess is more right.

You are correct sir, but my point was more along the lines that gearing for 200+mph speeds isn't necessarily going to make a 10sec pass impossible. Cars at the strip weighing more than indy cars weigh only need around 500hp to make a 10sec pass. Indy cars make 700-800hp and weigh less. If you can hook it up, the power to weight ratio says YES, under 10sec.
