  1. ^^^Flamer. What about me? Don't I get a kiss too, flamer? "To each their own" IS a philosophy that you need to adopt, but that doesn't mean you should be a homo. If that's what your into though, I support you.
  2. First of all, you don't have to double post, you can edit them. Your first post is just another example of you looking for proof, which would negate the faith factor and ultimately affect free will so I'm surprised that you would waste our time with that again. You say that I think "their gods are imaginary". Grasping for straws aren't you? God the Father may be all of the above. God wills it and it's done. Enjoy your time here. Christians understand that ALL people are Gods children. Buddhist beliefs are that there may or may not be a God, they don't know. The major religions of today do not reject Christ. The muslims do not reject Christ. Even the jews, who rejected God throughout the bible, have a growing number of followers coming to Christ. Other religions believe in Christ as a metaphysical state of mind. You reject this as coincidence: Einstein developed the general law of relativity which proved that time is relative to the observor and would cease to exist for a "being of light" Ephesians 5:13-14 13But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. 14Therefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. You reject this as coincidence: How is it that the bible warns of destruction by means and on a scale that would have been inconceivable before the advent of thermonuclear weapons? Was the potential effect of cataclysmic earth impact by meteor or asteroid understood 2000 years ago? 10But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up...nevertheless we according to His promise look for a new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. You also seem to reject your own advice: QUOTE(anton @ Oct 14 2006, 08:56 PM) Last one was deleted before "helldriver" could read it Stupidity
  3. Your feable points have already been answered repeatedly. How about you read what other people post and try to come up with something intelligent for a change, instead of childishly trying to chase us all away. I'm leaving now, but don't you worry, I'll be back.
  4. excatley the oppiste he live shid life uopn nayural insticts and desries theing ahahahahaha
  5. By whos authority do you declare these opinions of yours to be true? I declare them to be untrue. You say "believers commit themselves to a lifetime of delusion instead of commiting their lives to reality"...that is a delusional statement on your part. I am certainly more educated than helldriver and probably have a broader scope of knowledge than yourself. Did you know that a majority of the scientific community are believers? Einstein developed the general law of relativity which proved that time is relative to the observor and would cease to exist for a "being of light" Ephesians 5:13-14 13But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. 14Therefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. If it cannot be proven one way or the other, both positions are faith based. Einstein declared himself a believer. Current theories of quantum physics indicate the existence of considerably more dimensions than the 3 spatial and 1 time dimension that we are capable of experiencing and it is believed that "quantum gravity" may be the link between general relativity and quantum mechanics. You say non-believers live moral, loving and much healthier lives. That is quite simply a preposterous statement that is not supported by fact. Non-believers may or may not be moral and loving, just like believers. It certainly cannot be said with any fact that they live healthier lives. I am quite certain that my mental health is more stable than helldriver, who claims to have defecated on a bible, "jacked off in a baptismal pool" and goes out of his way to attack people of faith because of his own insecurity, just like you are doing here. Your last statement has already been logically refuted. If God says that faith is what pleases God because it helps to maintain our freewill, who are you to say otherwise? Maybe on some level unknown to us, faith is a factor in supporting and maintaining a focused reality. Regardless, despite your skewed opinion, there is nothing counterproductive about faith. I've said this before, but your position is just as faith based as believers because apparently you believe that humans are just one small evolutionary step above some shit flinging monkeys, yet at the same time you believe that no greater intelligence is to be found anywhere in the known or unknown universe. Thats quite a leap of faith right there.
  6. Right on! Go cards!!!

  9. I don't know popeye, who? haghahaha We're having a good time schoolin your dumbass. Bob, I'm gonna go ahead and bid "LOSER" on this retards showcase. :yelrotflmao:
  10. Helldriver, you're a master-ass douchebag-and-a-half no shut-n-up piece of shit aren't ya? Yep. Nobody likes you because you're a worthless inbred retard with no decency or respect for other people. Therefore, you're our whipping boy! PTT has been making you dance! Ahahahaha
  11. Hey look, another keyboard tough guy. I
  12. Yeah Helldriver, thats about as pathetic an answer as I thought you would attempt. Anyone who wants to read through this thread will see that you are the only one who has tried to use the bible to condemn people. I have faith and I'm not afraid to live my life and be myself because I know what the bible says about faith, love and grace. Like I said earlier, the human mind is like an iceberg with the majority of it's substance hidden beneath the surface. Regardless though, none of the personal attacks in your post address these questions: If you want to die without hope, why do you care if others want to die WITH hope? Why do you care? If you don't care, then why do you persist in this pathetic activity of yours? Can't you find something better to do with your short time here? Ok, lets see you attempt another pathetic answer to that...
  13. ^^^Yeah right, dream on loser. Your gonna DIE!!!! Sooner than you realize. So am I. I have hope (faith). You have none. Thats the only difference between you and me. Not that I would want to, but you have nothing for me to attack because you are just dust in the wind by your own admission. You however, for some strange reason, feel compelled to attack those who do have something...Faith. Whats up with that? If you want to die without hope, why do you care if I want to die WITH hope? If you don't care, then why do you persist in this pathetic activity of yours? Can't you find something better to do with your short time here? Ok, lets hear your pathetic excuse now.
  14. Yeah, your the devil...
  15. ^^^Look at the keyboard tough guy, picking on a girl. You go tough guy. Punk ass. Bitch. Yeah...I know, save the drama for your mama PUSSY.
  16. Who said this is the plane of perfect happiness? Perhaps this is just a spiritual training ground. Just like you failed to finish your scholastic endeavors (flunky), perhaps not everyone makes it to the next grade. That does not coincide with what we know about the PHYSICAL universe and the laws of opposing forces, now does it? Because this is the physical plane of existance where everything is held in balance by opposing forces. Perfect happiness is not possible here because you live and you die, but who is to say that it is not possible on another plane of existance? Current scientific theory does not negate the concept of other planes of existance, in fact it further supports it as a precept.
  17. anton, Wouldn't your scenario have serious repercussions on a little thing called free will? Isn't free will what separates us from man made technology like robots and artificial intelligence? How many people do you think the limited resources of the earth can support and for how long? What do you think happened to other civilizations of the past that have left evidence of their advanced state of existence, from knowledge of stellar precession to unfathomable feats of engineering that rival even our own abilities in this day and age? What do you think about the iceberg that is the human mind and all that lies beneath the surface? The bible says that this is not the first go around for the opposing forces of human nature. If God says that faith is what pleases him because it maintains the free will of his creation, who are you to say otherwise? How is it that the bible warns of destruction by means and on a scale that would have been inconceivable before the advent of thermonuclear weapons? 6Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: 7But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. 8But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 10But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 11Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, 12Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? 13Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. 14Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless. 15And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; 16As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. 17Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness. 18But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen. What would you think if someday Russia and China decide to come against Israel and the US with North Korea or Iran as a catalyst, or any of a number of other scenarios? We are pushing hard for globalization and world peace but the fact is that we are very far from it. What if you do hear the noise and see the flash? Let's all hope for the best, but are Christians bothering you in any way? Why don't you just live your life and steer clear of the haters like HD? How'd dat be? It only takes faith the size of a grain of sand. Nothing but love for you here bro.
  18. 19For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully. 20For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God. 21For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: 22Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: 23Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously: 24Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. 25For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.
  19. 1 Peter 1:22-23 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: 23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incoruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. Amen
  20. Matt. 4:7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. God knows what you have need of before you even ask. God defines the terms. God does not act on your every whim. I do know that Jesus was right about moving mountains, we can do that, I have faith. Entire landscapes are altered all the time. Get enough Cat equipment on the job and it's done in relatively no time at all. Where there is a will there is a way. 33For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. 34Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread. 35And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. 36But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not. 37All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. 38For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. 39And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. 40And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
