  1. When I bought my banshee it had FMF fatty pipes on it, and a K&N fliter. I tried all kinds of jetting but could never get the bike to run rich enough in the midrange. It would sputter and cough, and on cool nites it would "pop" upon shifts when running it hard. I looked for a solution everywhere and came up with the Dynojets. I wasn't to crazy about the idea of spending $60 on a set of needles, it sounded kind of foolish to me. Not knowing it this was the fix to my problem I ordered them anyhow. Upon installation I set the needles one step from the richest setting. From that point on it ran great throughout the powerband. So as far as my experience goes, I would say its a good product and well worth the money!
  2. Can I be the one to test em out? You dont know me, and I don't know you...cant get any better test person than that can you??
  3. Effingham drags this weekend. Last one of the year!!

    Haullers

I'm not for sure, but I don't think RMATV sells 22's. I think the tallest they go is 21's. Prolly have to try Jims Sand Toys. Or go to skat-traks website and look for the list of distibuters. It would be sweet if rockymountain did sell them tho. They deal in volume. Volume = cheaper prices for you and me
  6. go to the VP web site, they have a list of distributers, find the one nearest you and give em a call. I would recommend c-12. The U2 is oxygenated, which will make your bike run a little better, but it also will dry your crank seals out causing they to eventually leak
  7. Buzz, you gonna water the track Sun. afternoon? The more traction the better in my book, plus the spectators won't get dusted out! The track was perfect the last race!
  8. The bike I saw that had the leaky pipes was like an 04, white and red . It also had the silencers painted black, and an extended swing arm I think
  9. last weekend while i was at LS I saw a banshee pull up to the Oasis. I noticed it had rocket pipes, so on my way over to the dyno booth I walked past for a look a it. It looked like someone had dumped oil all over the damn thing.. I looked closer and one of the pipes had a hole in it, and was spraying oil all over the radiator cover and front fender. The pipe had oil runnin out of it, and all down the side and front. It looked like holy hell. At that point I was glad I went with the CPI. I would have been pissed if I spent $500 on that leakin junk. I bet he was too.
  10. Art,what kind of race fuel do you guys run?
  11. Ditch the orings. They are only to be used on stock clutch plates.
  12. After last weekend, I'm thinkin the clutch on my bike is only gonna be used at the starting line next year!
  13. prolly like a 300
  14. I got some Keihin PWK 28's I'll sell for $200. They only have 2hrs at the most on them. I put them on before I had my motor ported. After the port work I went with 35's. These carbs are like new!
  15. I was the one on the blue banshee that raced you about 30 f**kin times.. Your bike hauls ass for sure.. you were the only gasser all weekend that would beat me consistantly. We were right down from your camp. I came up and talked to Art sat. night.
  16. Our shit is loaded up and ready to roll. All bikes are in the trailer, gear is packed and trailer is on the truck. All we gotta do is jump in it after work and hit the road! We'll be heading out around 5:00pm thur. evening, should get there sometime around 11:00pm. Get ready to ride bitches!
  17. Get the cubs. Good power for a decent price, and still reliable.
  18. Pro-wedge is a molded tire..... Skat Trak tires are tires that have been buffed down, and paddles glued on.
  19. If the sun comes out tomorrow I can prolly get ahold of a couple 4x4s to clean up the track for ya . That is if you have more than one hairo.
  20. As far as I know the drags are still on.
  21. yeah,...The track was watered "very well" there was zero dust on the track, which was good for spectators, AND riders!
  22. Loco, if you thought practice was fun, you should have showed up sat. nite..whole differnt ball game. Fresh sand was brought in and the whole track was watered. Perfect traction! It was bad ass!
  23. You have a PM
  24. I don't really know how the classes are set up at the big races, but the way they are set up at Buzz's is pretty damn fair. There Isn't any turbo bikes there, and prolly won't ever be. How many people do you know,or have heard of having turbo bikes around here? I don't know anyone, and I know some dudes that have some pretty bad ass shit. Trust me, if you come you will have a good time!
  25. yep, haven't seen any nos or turbos out there. Besides there is also the "open" class which just about everyone enters that has a quick bike..all the way from raptors,450rs,yfz450s, mild built banshees, to full blown drag bikes..Its the "run what you brung class". They pay back 4 spots, so atlest if you cant beat some of the big motor banshees you still have a chance at winning something! Like Buzz stated, this weekend was the first time there was a full blown drag bike there. Its alright to be nervous..just don't be scared
