  1. If you're looking for a good steak. Vegas has the best I've ever found. Craft steak house inside the MGM Grand serves a Kobe filet that puts all others to shame. It's expensive but I usually walk out of there more satisfied than if I had dropped the same number on the tables or at the Horse.
  2. DOH! Always a day (or week) late and a dollar short. Full moon right? Dammit! What about Roostfest 2005? Dumont or Glamis? Anybody planning that one yet? I see the list participants still have the same level of appreciation for sarcasm. Thank you for all the heartfelt boost bottle recommendations anyway. How about flame stickers? How much hp in those?
  3. First off. How much faster will my bike go with a new boost bottle? Secondly, what have I missed over the last few months? Is Lee still selling the HQ? Thirdly, it's feeling a lot like desert season is right around the corner. I'll officially bust the beast out of mothballs tomorrow, dump some water into the silencers while washing it, and immediately start purchasing expensive shiny new things for it. Is there an HQ Glamis trip in the works I should know about? Remember, don't blame the beer.
  4. SanueL - Pulp Fiction Shooter / Happy - Happy Gilmore Cmon - Top Gun - Blazing Saddles. Great movie. Hanks - Forest Gump OK. How about: "That's what the Internet is for, slandering other anonymously!"
  5. John Candy - Uncle Buck. Someone might have got that already. Didn't notice. Anonymous old lady - Tommy Boy. "I like her idea..." Farley - Black Sheep Farley - Almost Heroes Me Myself and Irene Here's an easy one: "Charlie don't surf!"
  6. Your steering stem might be bent. A small bend will make a noticeable offset in the bars.
  7. blank stator 3 piece cover shipped to 92040
  8. After a lot of homework I decided on the F250 crew cab with the long bed. The cab itself seems much bigger than the Silverado 4 door version, and I liked the simplicity of the Ford. If I had it to do over again the only thing I would change is to cough up the extra 6K and get the diesel. I got the big v10 and although it runs strong, it's no match for the deisel towing up the grade coming back from Glamis and it gets kind of old stopping for gas every half hour.
  9. I'd say that guy's website needs a little work. I enjoy a blank black page as much as the next guy but it left me feeling unfulfilled. Was this a rebuild of your stock rear shock?
  10. Don't wait. Go talk to a lawyer as soon as possible. If you don't have one, find one quick. Most will review your case for free and then you can decide who you want fighting for you. Lawyers fees range from roughly $200 - $300 per hour. Does the military offer some sort of legal advocate service? Good luck.
  11. Lee, can you please post the elements of the site that you are interested in selling? - domain name - forum license - post archive - complete server? thank you.
  12. I believe they also offer a SST Titanium silencer which is a version of the shorty silencer.
  13. I'll chime in. Just picked this up: 02 CBR 954RR All stock. Can't wait to start tinkering with it now. ANyone know where to get a rear seat cowl for one of these? ;]
  14. Who would have thought it would be so difficult to find a few people out at Glamis? That's cool. Better planning needed next time. I'm in for Halloween. Actually hoping to get another trip in this season if a cold front comes through. What's 'heatstroke'?
  15. What difference would you say it DOES it make? Just out of curiosity.
  16. There's this spot right off the highway I always see somebody in. Past Gecko road but before the flats. Looks like you could get off on the road to the flats and head back. There's lots of trees and plenty of shade. Not exactly I secret though, I went on Thursday and there was someone already there. I stayed in the washes this time but I think I'm going to try to find some of those more 'out of the way' spots next time.
  17. Got my shirts the other day. They rock! Thanks again.
  18. That's good stuff. What's "absinthe"?
  19. Who makes those chrome ones? Is that fullbore?
  20. I went to TAG's site and I can't find mention of a "Banshee Bend" in the T2 bars. It that just an alternate name for one of these bend styles? They've got: CR DOUBLE HI CR HI CR LO KTM KX RM HI SX HI SX TEAM YZ DOUBLE HI YZ MINI WORKS MINI HI MINI KTM 65 `02 I've been looking at the CR LO. I switched my stock bars out almost immediately after I got it and went with the Renthals. I have not been impressed. They are still bent way too far far back, and rotating them forward only puts the grips into an awkward "up" postition. Plus my front brake resevoir practically faces front. Anyone have any problems with the TAG bars with anything other than the TAG bar clamp? Do you need to use their "Universal Mounting Kit"?
  21. Are those arms fully adjustable? Quicksand arms are fully adjustable and that ended up being the deciding factor for me.
  22. Sidi Flex. Good ankle pivot. I had to adjust my shifter too but no complaints after that.
  23. Doesn't the TORS elimator kit include the new idle stuff?
  24. Beer Pong American or International rules? Hit the cup one drink. In the cup pounbd the drink? Try playing with more than one cup. Then again, it sounds like you did just fine.
  25. That line was when Axle was trying to get into the exclusive brunch room. The playboy mansion one, he pretended to be the pool guy. "Somebody had an accident in the pool" "There's something floating in the pool" "Somebody sh*t in the pool."
