to paint it yourself cheap heres what you do...take what you are painting and clean it up exceptionally well, and when you say its good, clean it again. use s.o.s pads as this will help scuff the factory paint....however very minimal. the best way would be to sand it. after it is all cleaned up take and get you a couple cans of a high quality spray paint and clear coat.... i used krylon industrial (saftey yellow and red) no matter what you buy its only 4-8 bucks per can. now hang your item so you can hit all angles and hit it all at the same time. now start to spray it in long even strokes very lightly and i do mean lightly. spray at least 6 or 8 light remember light coats. the more you spray it the tougher it will be. wait at least 45 minutes between coats. when you spray your last coat and it is tacky spray a coat of clear on that. now you will do the same with the clear as you did with the paint. the more clear the deeper the shine. the light coats will prevent runs and sags as well as insure each coat bonds to the next and it will last a real long time for about 20 bucks. it will take a little time but worth it ...i can e mail you pics

I GOT A POWER KIT W/ PIPES, REEDS,BOTTLE,SPACERS,ETC. AND IT CAME WITH 265 MAINS AND NO PILOTS.RUNNING LIKE THIS IT FOULED THE PLUGS IN A RIDE. I TOOK OFF THE LID AND ITS BETTER NOW.BUT I FEEL IT COULD BE FASTER AND I RIDE WITH A GUY WHO HAS A MODDED 400EX WHO IS REAL CLOSE TO ME. LISTENING TO YOU GUYS TALK I SHOULD BE SPANKING THAT EX AND I ALMOST THINK HE CAN TAKE ME ON A SHORT STRAIGHT. WILL I GAIN SPEED/ACCELERATION OR THROTTLE RESPONSE BY JUMPING TO SAY A 320/30 MAIN/PILOT. IT RUNS GOOD NOW BUT I WOULD THINK IT SHOULD BE BETTER. I ALSO HAVE 21CC DOMES AND A TIMING PLATE. JUST NEED THE PULLER TO INSTALL THE PLATE. I GUESS I ALWAYS HAVE TOO MUCH TO SAY SORRY. I HAVE A COMPLETE SET OF BANSHEE PLASTICS SOME NICKS AND SCRATCHES BUT THEY ARE USED. THE FRONT FENDER IS BUSTED ON ONE SIDE BUT COULD BE CUT INTO RACE STYLE AND WOULD BE PERFECT. THE FRONT AND REAR ARE WHITE AND THE RAD AND GAS ARE TEAL (BLUEISH GREEN) MAKE ME AN OFFER I NEED THE ROOM. I ALSO HAVE A RED RAD AND GAS COVER BUT SOME ONE PAINTED IT AND IT LOOKS LIKE CRAP

i recently put a new vitos clutch kit in my shee. at first it worked good just riding around the yard and such but as it got hot it seemed to get harder to pull. so with a little adjustment it got better. when i got to go riding it was fine at first but after shee got hot it was stiff as hell, and it seemed like it would get better if i kept the rrrr's up. what i mean by this is if i rev it up or get hard on the throttle it would get easier to pull in at the lever. also once it gets hot it wont start in gear with out kicking the hell out of it, if at all. anyone had this problem. is my basket wasted and i didn't notice. the bike is a 92 i took down to the frame and made it new with love and ebay. the first top end job was done about 10 hrs of riding ago so to speak and inside the engine and cylinders were perfect so i really don't think its the basket because i bought the bike from a guy who never rode it, and everything was stock until i got a hold of it even the brake pads.i bought it in 96 and i only have about $700 in it before my mods(bone bone stock)so it is far from abused any ideas. thanks
