Keihin Differences ? Air Stryker - Huh ?
Trick2stroke replied to bigtreads's topic in General Banshee Discussion
LOL oops... What I meant was is the air stryker better then the pwk? -
I was going to do it but Jim from passion racing told me to just use the stock banshee cylinders... I do plan however on still using the RZ shift forks and drum and the stator for the extra watts...
-
I totally agree with the rear plastics rebel, I would definatly buy some of them, it would prolly help the saggy stock fenders.. Thats what they should work on... The nose peice is what makes the shee diffrent..

So the air striker would be better then a keihin? -
Your bike has to be out of tune... I raced a piped 400 ex with ym stock YZ 85 and handed his ass to him, it wasn't pretty..... After that he loaded up his bike and left...lmao How do your plugs look? Also what gas/oil ratio you runnin? I was wet foulin plugs alot...

I pmed him yesterday and this morning when I got on he had already pmed me back, I like it when I get a quick response... As soon as I get a shee and sell my dirt bike, the money is goin strait to getting a passion stroker.... I can't wait, all these reviews have me excited lol I can't wait..
-
I don't like it, I guess I would have to see it on the bike... But if it looks the same on the bike as it does off it....I dunno, caughfuckin caughugly I would rather have what you call an unoriginal traditional looking shee then have a shee the looks "diffrent" but like shit... You know that after about 6 months or so more then 1000 people will have the rapshee front and then whos gonna be diffrent? When a bike has been in production for so long your always gonna atleast slightly resemble other bikes, only way you can realy be diffrent is by diffrent mods and diffrent color scheems ect... Im not knockin any 1 who realy likes that look, thats just what I like.... "If it aint broke don't fix it" ^ I say.... ^ "If it aint broke fix it till it is..." ^ Thats what there doin.^

Hes a what? Anyway Thank you for his sn and the link to the review, I appreciate it.

What Is Jetting - A Great How-to Article.
Trick2stroke replied to sredish's topic in Jetting & Exhaust Forum
Sure your not too lean at 45ft? Im positive, the plug was a dark brown, and it ran great for almost 2 years at 45 ft without fouling 1 plug, even after I got back from Wyoming. -
np its a great site.

What Is Jetting - A Great How-to Article.
Trick2stroke replied to sredish's topic in Jetting & Exhaust Forum
I didn't know about the changes in fuel either, Im at about 45 ft above sea level and I went with my friend to Wyoming to his grand parents cabin, I believe it about 8000 ft above sea level, the town that is and I did absolutly nothing to my jetting, and I also ran the fuel from the little town... This was before I knew anything about jetting for elevation and temp changes... All I had was an LRD p/s and no air box lid performance wise, I did notice it was at a lose of power, but the plugs where fine and did great the for the whole 2 weeks, of almost all day riding.. At times we where up to 11,000 ft and the temp droped about 15 degrees and it still ran ok.... Lots of fun! -
Go Here..... It has a list of all the tracks and rec areas in texas... I plan to go to alot of these places 1'nc I get my licences and a shee... Have to get a group ride of shees goin, that would be fun.

Hi, im from Huffman not to far away from Houston. I have been past the track right by ghattie town several times and have wanted to go there, but I wanted some 1 to go with, didn't wanna show up by myself... I have actualy never been on a track before but always wanted too. I ride a YZ 85 for right now, but will sell it as soon as I find a shee to start on... For now I mainly ride at my freinds house out in all the fields towards crosby... Maby we can hit up some tracks some time...

I was woundering, if it would be possible to clear powder coat over paint... Cause I was wanting to do a metal flake color, and I don't know of any metal flake powdercoat colors... Any info on this will be appreciated... Thx..

Does ceramic coating the exaust make any diffrence in power at all? I have heard that ceramic coating pipes raise the interior temperature of the main chamber, thereby altering the expansion rate of spent gases for more horse power. Any 1 know if this is true? Cause I planned on getting chrome pipes, and coating them with something clear to protect the chrome, it would be great to get a slight power increase also.....

I hope to God that you mean 41.00 + shipping for the a arms.... I am mainly seeing what these parts will cost me, im waiting to find out about a frame. I'll also be checking ebay. I want to get these parts as cheap as possible, cause they will only be used for a short time so I can ride while im waiting to get enough money together for after market parts.. I am kinda interested in the yellow fronts and the a arms, swing arm, and axle.. I dunno if I want to spend that much on older plastics, even if they are in good cond, like I said I want to spend as little as I can, cause everything will be replaced as soon as I get the money.. I dunno exactly how to use paypal, I was thinking a c.o.d would work, but I dunno, we can work sumthin out... Thx again.

Want To Make A Kid Like His Banshee More
Trick2stroke replied to banshee00shaw's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
All I can think of are reeds, maby on air filter, unless you found a good set of used pipes.. Thats all I can think about thats cheap..Or about as close to cheap as performance mods get on a shee lol... -
Well I dunno if this is the problem, but when I rejetted my blasters carb, 1 of the hose guides that bolts on between the bowl and the carb was outa wack, and wasn't allowing it to seal correctly, maby you could check that, I dunno if its the prob but check to make sure.. Hope that helps..

Where are you located? Who did the porting? Why you sellin? Any pics? Thx..
-
Well I don't need any engin components, mainly things such as shocks, tires rims, a arms, axle, plastics, hubs and things like that... Frocash, how much are you looking to get for the rear tires and rims? I have front .190's and only need rears, also what ply and size are the shots? Screamin, How much are you looking to get for the fender?I may just go ahead and get some fue bores, unless your sellin the plastics kinda cheap... I need to find some used a arms and a swing arms and shocks front and rear, also a stering stem, axle... mainly chassis components... Thx.
