hi i was wondering how well automotive paint would work on the frame? i spary painted it and that lased about two years , and now i am redoing it and i was thinking automotive paint (i have a friend who has some left over from his jeep and will do it for free ) will it hold up longer than spray bombing it?

bansheemine did the same thing a while ago, and it was the shift linkage that was broke. pull off the clitch cover and look at where it shifts on the shifter star. the litte hook things that grab the pegs could have spun on you. it should be on the outside of them, not in the inside. hope pic will help

i had something similar happen. i have a moose basket so the main gear bolts to it. any way the small gear in the back broke into pieces and sheared the four bolts on the basket off, and all the little plastic cushions when into the tranny. had to replace all the seals, new bolts for the clutch, buy a new main gear, and a new idler gear. and while it is apart it is being ported and all that fun shit. oh and cant forget thee new stator w/ adjustable timing plate. lots of $$$$$$$$ (up to about $450 now ) when i heard that grinding sound behind clutch cover. so if you dont want shit like that to happen spend the money now and fix it right.

wish i could go, but my shee doesnt look like it will be done for a while but in the end it will be worth the wait

i have clamp on k&n filter with outer wears on my banshee, and i like to trail ride it and go through mud and stuff, but if any of that shit gets on filters it kills the engine. i have the stock air box with stock filter still, and alot of you say run it w/o th lid on it. will how do you gey the stock filter to stay in it with out the lid??? also is there a way to run the k&n and not worry about stalling engines?? please let me know!!

it takes a while to get used to it, but it easy to go ever rough stuff when you get used to it. it took me about 1 week of riding to learn how to ride with a twist throttle. just my 2 cents worth.

doesnt the sanding drums get used up fast, and did you use the to hog out the bulk of the material, or just to clean it up?

30 thousandths is what i milled mine to. good power gain and more compression. no problems yet, just dont forget to have your crank shaft trued and welded so it doesnt seperate.

tear that thumb throttle shit off and put on a twist throttle. they take a while to get used to but worth it in the end!!

i am about to port my cyclinder with the race logic sport kit and i was wondering what type of dremmel bits to use to port the cyclinders out with. i heard to use grinding burs, and then sanding drums to clean it up. if so for the grinding burs what ones do i buy, and how many? thank you for your time. thanx
