  1. I have a 98 shee, T-5s, coolhead (18cc with 172psi), mild porting, VP C-12, everything else is stock. What size/brand of carbs should I get?? I mostly ride at the dunes in waynoka. I might be going to a big bore (68mm) and doing some more porting but not sure yet. Has anyone had the big bore la sleeves installed, the ones that don't require any case mods?? Is it worth it?? and what about the race logics $50 porting templetes. I know there are lots of places that do porting, and would probaly do alot better job then I could but, I just like to tinker around with stuff and feel the differance that I made, good or bad!!
  2. I have 98 shee with pretty much all stock engine. I have t-5's and the individual k&n's. The head has .038 milled off and I always run straight vp c-12. I am getting ready to freshen it up and have decided to go with the noss cool head. I also have a set of boysen reeds I am gonna install too. What sizes of domes should I get?? 15, 16, 17,..... I primarly ride it at wanoka, on the dunes, but sometimes I do trail ride it. Also I was thinking about getting an adjustable timing plate. any sugestions???? Thanks
  3. I saw a shee with a blue seat cover on it that had checkerd flags on the side and I think one would look good on my 98 blue&white bike. Anyone know where I would be able to buy one??? How much??? Thanks!!!
  4. I run vp C-12 so there won't be a problem there. What kind of reeds to you all suggest??? Is there any other kind of air filter avalible that I can still remove the air box?? I saw an add about a uni 2 into 1 filter but it said you still had to have the box....and I don't really want that.
  5. I just bought an all stock 1998 shee. I rode it for a day or two and decided to make it faster. My problem is that I have never really been around 2 strokes very much. I started by removing the TORS, and I removed the head and milled it down (I work in a machine shop) .042" that dropped the cc's from 24 to 20.8. I replaced the stock head gasket with one from cometic (.010 thick) and I have bought a set of toomy T-5's. What is the best air filter to run??? I want to completly remove the air box, should I get some K&N's that clamp right to the carbs or is there something better?? I am gonna ride this bike mainly at the dunes (waynoka, ok) but I will occasionly trail ride it here (salina, kansas) I have installed some 270 main jets, do ya think they will be too small for starters?? What should I do with the pilot and the bleeds?? I also plan to get an adjustable stator, and a cool head when I get some more $$$ saved up. Any comments about what the hell I am doing wrong would be appricated!!! Also any go fast ideas???? Thank you
