I wouldn't go that far. I can take a drag car and make make a good 8-10 nitrous passes and it be due for a rebuild, this same with atvs. I have heard of shees from 1989 that still run around without a rebuild (given slow). Longevity of a engine is a function of the driver. I can pound any four stroke into need of rebuild in a good year just as a 2 stroke. As far as cost, you can rebuild the top end 2-3 times on what it takes to go through the entire four stroke once. Sure, when you get a two stroke, you pay for what you get, high revs, high power. The cost, maintanence. Would you pay a small fee knowing that your quad was the best onthe track before you got there? 2-stroke KX500 3600$ 2-stroke shees 4000$ Tossing mud on 4-strokes as I pass.......Priceless

I have used the hinson for some time now and love it. Pay the extra 50 and don't take chances.

Can someone explain undercut gears and their purpose?

I lived in West Virginia and Missouri for some time, bad winters. I found it a good investment to purchase on of those oil pan heaters for a S-10 truck from JC Whitney. Just plug it in a 15 minutes or so before you go ride and your ready to go.

there's no replacement for displacement except maybe nitrous. Bore and stroke.

I have used nitrous on four strokes for about 5 years now but have never used it much on 2- strokes. Is there anything that you need to do with the premix?

Well, I just bought a 10 mm crank accompanying cylinders nitrous wet kit adj. timing plate IV heads lightened flywheel shift star mod I haven't bought carbs or pipes yet Pretty radical port work V-force reed assembly I am waiting to buy the pipes and stuff after my walet recovers from the 10 mm crank. The nitrous just looked fun, I've drag raced before with nitrous and it looked to be a whole load of fun on a banshee.

What is the best swingarm length for trail riding? I know that the -1 is supposed to correct the banshee suspension geometry to be more like a 250R but is that something that you want. I have never ridden a 250R, only banshees. I know for mountain climbs 8-10+ is the way to go, it has looked ditto for drags but what about dunes and trails?

I am willing to (sell, trade) my old PS2 and soul for some banshee parts. The PS2 is messing with the grades in college so I should get rid of it. It is also has advantages by changing the gearing ratio by not changing gears. Need to toy with the sprocket sizes to get get back to original velocity and acceleration. Better thing, lower sprung weight, makes suspension more apt for dampening on the big stuff.

Any local machine shop should be able to do that cheaper than working with a dealership. If that fails go to Harbor Freights website, they have everything to do anything.
