  1. BelRay H1R is a synthetic racing oil. There are two mixing instructings on the container. One for full out racing machines, and one for close to stock machines. This is a very good oil to use.
  2. BelRay H1R, There are two recommended mixing ratios, one for hi performance, and the other for stock machines, which i think is about 40:1. I went from the Yamalube to this, and noticed a definite difference in performance.
  3. You might give a guy by the name of Chuck Lee a call. Chuck owns Ridgway Motorsports, and knows engines. He does all of his porting on a flow bench, and can balance the cylenders to match each other. People from all over the world send him stuff to work on. This past fall he won the Pikes Peak hill climc , i believe in the 250 class, on a bike that he built. Chucks phone # is 970-626-5112.
  4. Welcome to the Banshee world.
  5. If it was me, I would bite the bullet, and replace it either with a new, or used one. If it suddenly gets worse, it's not going to happen at a convenient location.
  6. I think it would be bettwer if you looked before you leaped, and made an ass out of yourself, in the future.
  7. I like the electric start feature, I wonder if it comes with a bag to carry the battery in?
  8. I,m going to refer you back to Amateur's suggestion that you look at the two rubber tubes that connect the carbs to the boost bottle. I even recommend that you put new ones on because they are probably dried out and have split, or are about to. If either one splits , air will enter, and cause the problems you are describing. The factory settup is a alum. tube that the hoses attach to, with the boost bottle the normal curv of the tubes is changed slightly which will put a little extra pressure on the tubes, causing one or both to split if they get dried out.
  9. Congrats, thers nothing like a Banshee to make you give up women, and drinking. After owning one for awhile you won't be able to afford either one. Thers nothing like the rush of riding a Banshee thru the dunes, or anyplace else. Good luck on finding out your problems.
  10. I also was here under another name, can't remember what it was , but when I discovered it was back on the air, I re-joined under my new name. Lost all of my old post numbers. To lee
  11. I'm guessing they will continue with the four stroke technology and improve on it. There are to many issues against the two stroke machines. Every year you see more and better four stroke motors being engineered and produced.
  12. Often times when Wal-Mart announces that a new store is going in, a lot of people bitch to whoever will listen about how thay do not want a big box store in thier area, yet when the store opens, the same people who were bitching, are there on opening day. Go figure
  13. The same thing happened to me several years ago, they sent the wrong size paddles on the haulers I ordered. Of course I had them on the ground before I realized it, and of course they refused to take them back. Luckely I was able to sell them to a friend, and ordered the right size from some one else, don't remember who right now, but it sure wasn't Chaparral. Now I get all of my stuff from Rocky Mt. ATV.
  14. I just noticed the date of the original post, ignore the GPS cord. since the request is 3 weeks old, I'll pay more attention next time.
