For all of you who go to glamis you are probally familar to the hills china wall and the slide. ( if you don't know what I am talking about the hills are very steep) Every time I race up it I can start in second gear and go up in 4th. This is werid because I have old school top end fmf pipes, while my cousin who has DMC pipes has to go up in 3rd gear. Is this usual? (both banshees stock)

You would think with all the time the atv companys have had they would be able to make a quad faster than the banshee.

I have stock motor would they perform better than the pipes I have now? Also do cpis have a good bottom end?

I have been looking for a new set of pipes for my banshee for a while. When I was looking on ebay I found alot of different brands of drag pipes. I was wondering which one would be the best for me. I have a stock banshee with a kn airfilter and old school FMF top end pipes. ( I want a pipe that has alot of top end while not having the bottom end suffer.) The pipes I have now are good I can beat stock banshee s with DMC T-5(bearly) and FMF fatties. I ride in the dunes ONLY! So I need pipes that can dune.

If I raced someone with ssts on their banshee would I lose?

the best thing to do for stress marks is to use a heat gun this works the best for me

Anyone know how these pipes work against ssts?

I dunno if anyone has ever had this problem but if you put on the parking brake and start up the motor it limits the power you get. Even if I take the parking brake off it still does this. It keeps snapping in and out of it. Especially when i start it up.

Since November I have been tring to figure out just what these pipes are. I bought them sometime around thanksgiving, thinking that they were the fmf fattys. It turned out that they are old pipes. However these pipes are strange. Almost everyone I see at the dunes that has they has a dent under the pipe, in the same place as mine. I also found people with another old fmf pipe that has a different curve in the pipe. The way they perform is great though. So far I have out raced (drag raced) banshees with DMCs Fmf Fattys Toomey t-5s.The power of these pipes suprise me concidering the age of them. Does anyone have these pipes or know anything about them(when made, other performance info)? I paid $80 for mine. here is a picture of one on ebay.old pipe

I am looking to buy cpi inframe pipes for my stock banshee where is a good place to buy them on the internet? Besides ebay.(they don't have any on there)

I don't know why you guys had such a problem with them I ordered a jersy a pair of riding pants and gloves for 120 bucks+ a chest protecter for100. After a while I wondered where my oreder was at ( about 3 days after ordering) I called them and the guy sent it right out the next day. I really didn't have problem with them at all.

The way I do it is to spray sulfuic acid on it then buff it. But I think there is much more effective and safe methods out there.

I ve never heard of any of the rangers ever enforceing it. Our whole group has banshees and v8 buggys I guess they would have said something by now. If they do enforce it It is probally only on holidays
