They came in black because they were extremely dirty once I polished them and put them on they looked great and performed awesome besides the problem with crusing up a hill. I said that they were not old school because for some reason on the pipes it shows the date it was manufactured, 1997. I figured that it couldn't be old school if it was made in '97. However for all I can tell the dent has no affect on the pipes.

pipes I bought on EbayI asked you guys about this about a week ago and most of you said that they were fattys. But when I took them to the dunes it became clear that they are not fattys when I asked a local fmf dealer what they are. He said that they were the fmf rev pipe, but if you check on the fmf web site fmf does not make a rev pipe for the banshee. The pipes' power is weird, they could be fast on flat ground and on the dunes, while sometimes it feels like it is out of gas when I am trying to go up a hill. they are fmfs' and they fit on my banshee (not old school pipes ether) If you said other tell me what they are.

I go to Glamis sand dunes in California, my air box is stock, yes the snokler is on.

I just bought some FMF fatty pipes for my banshee, my banshee is stock with nothing but an air filter. I go the dunes so I need the right jets for duning. What jets would I use?

You guys will never believe this, I got the pipes in today and spent about 2 hours on cleaing and polishing them. Now they look like 200 hundred dollar pipes!!!! The dent however looks worse in the picture than it really does. Over all I got a smokin deal!

Mine was going to fast and flying off a dune.

Well like I said before I can clean them, but if you look at it the dent isn't at the bottom of the pipe so I don't think it will affect the performance.

I only bought them because I was short on cash and I have a special cleaner that can make them crome again. If they don't work than I can chrome them out and resell them. I'd probally make money on them.

Well I really needed pipes and I was short on cash. The dent however I think that it was purposely put in there so it can fit into the frame, or at least I hope it is.

EBAY I bought these on Ebay but I don't know what kind of pipe they are. The seller said that they were FMFs but I don't know if they are sst, gnarly,rev, or fatty. My guess was Fatty what do you think they are?

When I was looking for pipes for my bike I wanted orinally to have Fmf sst, but because I don't have that much money I am going to go with the Fmf fatty. Should I go ahead and buy the fatty or should I wait and get the sst? Are they the same or is the sst worth waiting for?

This happened to my cousin's bike at the dunes, what you need to do is get the cylinder looked at and determine whether it is clogged. If it is get it cleaned out and it will work great.

We both have been riding our banshees around the same amount of time but he is about 80 pounds heavier than me!

My cousin and I both have Banshees, He has Dmc pipes and i am going to get fmf stts will I be able to smoke him up a hill?(SAND) also we both do not have any mods just pipes.

I don't race one of those but I was wondering where did you get that bumper on your banshee ?( the one in the picture) I have looking for one of those.

Depends on the type of lights, my cousin and I went to the Snd Sports Show and the lights we looked at were about$ 150. Most of the ones I see run in the hundreds.

Your complaning that you have to drive 2 hours to get to your riding spot!? I have to drive 4 1/2 hours to get to mine from my house. Once you get there you will know it is worth it.

In addition to them stop making the 2 stroke Banshee I also heard that Yamaha was going to try to make the Banshee 4 stroke.( so that they wouldn't have any problems with pollution) But I don't think that thye would acually do that.

I don't know what the all the top dune stops are but I know Glamis California is one of the best places to dune. That is were i go.

I did the same thing you are going to do. I got the FMF silencers with my stock pipes, I am pretty happy with the preformance of them.
