  2. Hey guys, today I bought 28 bored stock carbs for $40 they work, and I was wondering if it was a good deal. How much are they worth?
  3. how much does advancing the time cost? Also will I loose any bottom end in the process?
  4. http://www.csupomona.edu/~motorcycle/image...02_Easter_1.jpg There you go,
  5. Recentally I have decided to get some mods to bump up my banshee. ( I drive in sand only) I've decided to get 28 bored carbs( stock carbs), dune porting, v-force reeds, and the crank welded. I was wondering what performance I can expect, and if I should go higher bore ( 33 s)on the carbs. Also if it would be a good idea to get a cool head. I like to dune as well as race so I don't what to lose all my bottom end.
  6. I dunno about that, I've beaten every 450 I 've raced but the drivers were at least 180-200 pounds with a pipe. I may not be the best racer but he sure as hell isn't as good as me. Probally by the time I race him I will have porting, carbs, reeds, and maybe a cool head
  7. Try checking on Ebay they might have it.

    Olds

For all you duners that go to glamis calf , do you think Olds is getting to the point where quads can no longer race on it? If so, where do you think the next racing hill will be? Olds for me is a little of a challenge to get through the wups, so I enjoy racing at the slide and other dune hills.
  9. Thanx for the help but I still want to have some bottom end after all this
  10. I'm running old school fmf top-end pipes, there 80-100 $$ best thing I ever bought
  11. I mostly dune with my banshee. So trail performance won't be the best bet
  12. 100 a week doing what? Still man I don't think you are ready for that kind of power. Especially if you're not experienced in the dunes
  13. I have a limited budget so would getting the fmf ones be a better choice. Maybe in the future I will consider seeding them to someone.
  14. Yeah I might be getting reeds as well
  15. Yeah I'm considering the fmf reeds
  16. I have a stock banshee with old school fmf top end pipes, a kn filter and 28 bored carbs vs a stock Yamaha 450 with a rider that weights 100 pounds. I weigh 160 I was wondering who would win. I have more experience in racing though. Also the race is in Sand
  17. Look take it one step at a time. Don't go out into the dunes with no experience( not saying you don't have any) and expect that you need all that power. I've been riding out there for my whole life and I still don't know if I can handle the power I m putting in my banshee. Oh and what your talking about to mod is going to cost you alot . Drag pipes 500 porting 200-300 carbs depends you get it. Starting begging from mom and dad. Also what dunes
  18. I'm running the Power cores 2 they sound great. Not too loud, not too quiet.
  19. I recentally decided to do so motor mods on my banshee. I was wondering if the v force reeds are worth the money. A long with them I plan on getting porting and carbs done. Also I ride in sand.
  20. I've decided to put on 28 bored stock carbs on my piped banshee. I was wondering what performance gain if any, I would get through this. I ride in sand with an after market airfilter and fmf pipes.
  21. Ya I see that all the time. When you put that much money into a quad that you have to trailor to the hill its kinda usesless. you can't have as much fun on it.
  22. How much did you charge him for shipping?
  23. I perfer the thumb over the twist
  24. What really sucks is that if you leave a person bad feedback because they ripped you off they can still give you bad feedback. One time we sold something and the guy never paid. So we left him bad feedback, and even though he never bought the item he left us bad feedback.
  25. a stock yfz
