  1. Sweet!! I'm going up there 8th,9th and 10th,there will be 10-15 of us,we'll be back at the end of the road at the bottom of the hill.i'll be on the banshee in my profile picture,stop by the names Eli.if i don't run into any of you have a good time(no life flight )if you know what i'm saying.
  2. Knight Ripper,what machine shop due you go to in Sacramento?It sounds to me like you need to talk to the guys at adrenaline powersports on sunrise blvd.those guys know banshees i would not go to anyother place in town asking about my banshee,not in sac. anyways!!!
  3. thanx for the help guys,i'm on it as far as the 110 0ct. goes,i think your right about running lean prior,i ride sand mountain alot which is 4-5feet and i live at sea level i have to check i probably havent returned the jetting to sea level after that last ride.thanx again

I just recently installed a cool head with 19cc domes,i checked the compression,it was at 170 psig on each cylinder.i have a mid range port that was putting out 58hprw before the cool head was installed,i adv.my timing +4 deg.will this be ok or should i go back on the timing.also i'm running t5's and rad valves 4th clip on needles and 320 mains,after the mods i started up the bike and reved it a couple times and i pulled the plugs it looked like i was running alot leaner now.any ideas?

  6. has anyone out there ran 28 or 30 mm. carbs?i have a mid range mx port,boysen rad valves toomey T-5's and run a two into one air filter,i'm putting out 58 hp at the rear wheels at 9750rpm and 36ft/torque at7750 rpm.i motocross this bike and sand ride i want more hp but still be ridable,and 34or35mm. will drowned out this motor the way it's built.if you've ran the 28 or 30's let me know how you liked them and how you set them up jetting wise. if you would like to see the dyon results i can e-mail them to you,it was done by carlos at CG Performance in san diego:evil:

I RACED ALL LAST SEASON WITH STOCK SUSPENION I GOT 3RD OUT OF 19 OVERALL,THE LAST RACE I PUT ON WORKS TRIPLE RATES WITH REZZIES AND FOR ME IT WAS LIKE NIGHT AND DAY ,I WAS ABLE TO RIDE FASTER AND HARDER AND CHARGE THE BUMPS INSTEAD UP SLOW DOWN FOR THEM.IF YOU WERE TO GET THOSE OR A SET OF BETTER SHOCKS LIKE ELKA OR AXIS YOU WILL BE ALOT FASTER THAN RIDING WITH STOCK,BY THE WAY THE REASON I SWITCHED OUT WAS BECUASE I BENT BOTH FRONT SHOCKS GOING OFF A DOUBLE.IF YOU CAN JUMP UP TO NEW SHOCKS IN THE FRONT AT LEAST

I'VE RACED BOTH AT THE TRACK(MOTOCROSS)BUT THE PART I'M TALKING ABOUT IS THE STARTING STRAIGHT.THERE WAS A YFZ AND A R THERE,THE R PULLED WAY HARDER OFF THE START THAN THE YFZ BUT I SMOKED THEM BOTH WITH A 3RD GEAR START,I WAS 50FEET IN FRONT AT THE END OF A 300 FOOT LONG RUN INTO THE FIRST CORNER,SORRY BANSHEES ARE STILL THE FASTEST THING OUT THERE FOR THE LEAST MOUNT OF WORK,

I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE HAS BEEN TO WINDCHESTER BAY LATLEY.I HAVE A GROUP OF ABOUT 15 PEOPLE GOING UP THERE MAY 20-23 FROM SACRAMENTO AREA.I GREW UP RIDING THERE BUT HAVENT BEEN THERE FOR 10 LONG YEARS,IS THERE ANYTHING DIFFERENT I SHOULD KNOW ABOUT BEFORE GOING UP THERE?:FEE'S,CAMPING REGS. ECT...CAN YOU STILL CAMP IN THE DUNES?WHEN DID THEY NAME BANSHEE HILL?I REMEMBER WHEN THAT WAS JUST A SINGLE TRACK TRAIL GOING UP THROUGHT THE TREES AND YOU BETTER BE ON THE PIPE OR YOU'LL WRAP AROUND THE TREES TRING TO GET TURNED AROUND. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT THANX
  12. I HAVE THE 18" KLAWS AND RIDE MOTOCROSS,THEY ARE THE BADDEST TIRE YET,ALL THE TRACTION YOU'LL NEED,AND THERE CHEAP $39.00 EACH,I'VE GOT 10 MOTOS OM MINE PLUS PRACTICE(75MILES) AND ALMOST NO SIGN OF WEAR.

I did a little gear change for last weekends race in marysville ca,it's a tight track for the most part,anyways i was running 15/41 and i changed back to stock14/41 with 18inch tires.both motos i pulled 3rd(that's right 3rd)gear starts and killed everyone off the line,i didn't end up with the overall but this gearing allowed me to be on the pipe at all times,and was one of my fastest races yet.if your wondering about my motor work click on my sceen name.
  14. just got a pair of works triple rate shocks w/ rezzies for my banshee ( used)don't know if there set up for my wieght, but i got them for cheap$300.00,any ways does anyone know if you can ajust the preload on them,i spin the can on the top of the shock but it doesn't seem to do anything,is there a trick to it?have a race next weekend,please help.
  15. get suspention first,banshees will beat you up bad,the rear shock is ok,but the fronts are trash,i was running stock up front for the first half of this season and it was bad,last race i finally bent the rods in the front shocks,and dnf'd the race.(no fun)i would say start with that and go from there.good luck
  16. i was wondering if anyone out there has works triple rate shocks,i just got some today(used $300.00).what i was wondering is can you ajust preload on them if so how?I'm not sure if there set up for my weight but i figured for the price,how could i go wrong sence there rebuildable.anyways any help would be great.

  18. if your bike is stock put the 42 on the back if you got mods use the 41 or 41,i run 15-41 at all the nor cal tracks.
  19. i run the t5's and i melted my 1st outerwear,yes i rotated the filter to the center,but i just use a rubber band around the center of the filter to hold the outerwear back from the pipes.never had a problem sence.
  20. toomey has the quite attachment that has a down spout, you can find it on there website or you can go to w welding shop and have them hook up your stock end caps
  21. you nedd 280 mains at sea level,air screw 2 turns everything else can stay the same,or get anew top end every ride
  22. jd is the shit,anyone who has been aroound quads in the last 18 years knows there good,i'm going to be getting there 2+ 1 next month.you can't beet the quality and professionalizm the carry.basically they do good work and there not cock suckers like all these other companies.

  24. hey everyone,i just got my kenda klaws on my shee 18-10.5-9,if there's anyone out there wondering how they are,they're sweet!!!!!!I was getting tons of traction in the upper gears(i still need to regear,maybe)and they handle really good,i'm sold on them.and the best part is they were only 39.00 dollars each.I was pulling 3rd gear starts all da at the track.does anyone have any sugestions for gearing or should i leave it stock.i do have motor work so that will come into play i imagine.(you can view on my profile)have a good one everyone,turn and burn
