    Carbs

I need a set of meth carbs i have a almost new set of keihin 33mm pwks i would trade or work out a deal with someone.
  2. thanks that is my bike and it is still a work in progress
  3. I am going to go to 18cc domes which will bring me up to around 180 or so give or take but i need to know what modifications i need to do to the carbs to run methanol.
  4. I got a set of like new 33mm pwk carbs only ran a couple of times i would be interested in trading for the alky carbs. let me know maybe we can work out a deal.
  5. I am going to be running alcohol this year and i need to know exactly what i need to do to convert the carbs (33mm pwk's) and anything else i need to do thanks guys
  6. hey it almost sounds like you have an air leak that is where i would start first make sure all your clamps are tight and the carbs are properly seated in the intake boot. then make sure your carb caps are on tight that is where i would start and i don't think you are that far off on jetting you should probably be around a 320 or so but your best bet is to to a plug chop or check. Any other questions you can pm me if you are still having problems.
  7. COME ON SOMEONE HAS TO HAVE ONE OR KNOW OF SOME ONE OR SOMEPLACE I CAN GET ONE FROM

    wanted

I need a 4mm stroker crank for a descent price. let me know what you got and for how much.
  9. you only payed 29 dollars for them! isn't 40 a little steep?
  10. all i can say is you won't regret letting jim port your cylinders
  11. well everybody has there choice that works for them it is really up to the person that is having the work done i am just posting how my experience was and i am very pleased.
  12. Pm passionre he will explain all this to you it is well worth having him do your port work my bike flat out flies
  13. i just got my cylinders back from jim at passion racing and the bike flat out hauls ass i can carry the wheels most of the way down the track in 300 feet while sitting on the tank don't be fooled by his pricing he knows what he is doing i got the drag port 12 port design and i would not trade it for anything these guys i race against just got a dyno and they want me to bring it up because i stomp them so bad of course i said no i can't give away all my secrets. Give him a try i promise you won't be disappointed. I wasn't and i know his name is not well known but how do you think all these other names started. they started witha few guys that were willing to take chance and vola they were in buisness. And jim will answer any questions you have and will set you up with ecactly what you want.
  14. give passionre a hollar he is on this site his name is jim just had my bike done by him and it flat out flies i can pull the wheels off the ground in 6th gear in a 300 foot drag race and it carries them for most of the track tell him don sent you he will hook you up with exactly what you want and his turn around time is quick.
  15. I just had passionre port my cylinders and the shee runs absolutely amazing and his turn around time is quick I would definently have another set of my cylinders ported by him. I can pull the wheels off the ground in 6th gear while sitting on the tank drag racing now tell me that his porting doesn't make any power. have yet to put it on timers but i bet it is well into the 4 sec range in 300 feet I got the full drag port (12 port) but i wouldn't be afradi to let him port it for the trails his work is top notch. and he will answer any questions you have.
  16. are you out to prove me wrong in every post that i post or respond to yes elevation will change your compression but as long as it is at or under 160 psi you do not need to run race fuel. and i suppose you would like to tell me that cast pistons are stronger than forged pistons and will outlast forged pistons like you said in the last post.
  17. it depends on your compression not on your altitude do a compression test and let me know what it is if it is under 160 then you are fine like i said i am running 18cc domes and i am at 400-500 ft. above sea level elevation does not make a difference its is you rcompression that determines what fuel to run. Race fuel will actually slow you down if your motor can not utilize it race fuel burns slower than pump gas.
  18. I was running 18 cc domes and running premium pump gas and it ran fine it ran like that for 2 years wtihout a problem basicly the rule of thumb is anything over 160-165 psi for compression needs to be on some kind of race gas or mix anything under that is safe on pump gas i was running 165 psi ineach cylinder and i did not have a problem but i was pushing pupm gas to its limit find out what your comprression is and go from there.
