So what exactly does the chip do to make the extra hp. I know a gas engine would advance the timing to get extra hp but since a diesel doesnt have "timing" like a gas engine where does the hp come from?

The only bad thing is they can get in trouble for selling fuel to somebody that is not going to put the av-gas in a airplane, so make sure they are cool before you just walk up there and say "filler up".

It's pretty much all low lead and it veries from 100 octane upto 120 octane just depends on how hot they mixed it up. The last time I bought some they had mixed butane in it to bring the octane up, that is the worst smelling fuel I ever used.

The av-gas is anywhere from 100 octane to 120 octane low lead, you can run it in anything. If it's cheaper I say use it. I use jet-a in my diesel truck because I have a bunch of it I drained from our helicopter and it's free.

I've got a 2002 F-250 powerstroke with a bullydog chip, straight exhaust and a K&N filter, I was wondering what are some cheap mods to get more power without breaking the bank. I was wondering why when I turn the chip up it will smoke real bad when I lug the motor, is that just to much fuel or what?

The one thing I dont understand is everybody was given plenty of warning to get out of those places, yet they stayed knowing what was coming at them..... I dont care how tough you are or if your a "O G" gangster you dont f%ck with mother nature when it comes to stuff like cat 4 and 5 hurricanes. go to a local airport and talk to somebody at one of the fbo's and have them sell you some av-gas, it will be cheaper than paying somebody to ship it ya.

I've had my banshee pinned on a 1/2 mile before with 17/39 gears, I dont have all the hp in the world but I know I had to pretty damn close to 100 and I was running 2nd in the race. The dust and little pebbles flying up made my face look like it had been sand blasted. I think you have to have a death wish to go that fast all the time.
