  1. Thx for the reply. I think that will help on WOT but what about lower speeds as I am crawling over rougher terrainÉ Thx again

  3. Hey all, I have a 2003 banshee, fmf pipes, pc 2 silencers, uni filter in stock air box w/no snorkel. I live at sea level and I am running 30 pilots, 270 mains, and can't remember the air screw adj--I beleive 2.5 turns out. I usually run at seal level to 4000 feet but when I hit 3000 feet and up I notice its bogs alot more at low speeds and is harder to manouver through tight areas. At WOT its fine. What can I do to loose that low end bog? I have a second airbox lid that has the last few inches cut off it--would that help? Also, I have a timing plate thats not installed yet--could that help in anyway? I know I probably will have to adjust jetting but what should I adjust? I assume its my needle and air screw? but what settings should I have them at? Thx for the help. Cheers

  8. Hey guys, I slightly bent my carb needle in the right carb. I straightened it the best I could and it fit back in the carb ok. I ran it for an afternoon and all was well. My question is, should I replace the needle or not? If so, where besides yamaha can I get one? Thx alot.
  9. Hey all, I am looking for some stock banshee carb parts. I need the screws that keep the needle in the slide for the carb. They attach to the cable retainer in the slide. They are probably # 6's or 4 screws. I needs as many as I can get. PM me if you have any.
  10. Hey guys, I have a 2003 banshee with fmf fatty's and PC 2 silencers, boyesene power reeds and a yet to be installed timing plate. My question is: I am about to do a compression test in the next day or 2 and if I had low compression and wanted to do new pistons and rings, what brand are good and can I just install the new stuff or do I have to do any work with the cylinders--clean up etc. I bought the banshee new in 03 and its never been apart. Sorry for the stupid post Thx in advance.
  11. I know you said that the pistons are in right but I have seen it before where a 2 stroke will run with pistons in backwards but not right. Also what was the reason for rebuilding? IS the head warped etc etc.. Good Luck
