Jason: I'll be up at K&K this afternoon..... I can check with them and post back here tonight. -
Sredish I pushed it out once again today........ If I only had gas in it. I woulda taken it for a spin. And again. Its not that I have to sell it....... Its sat for a little over two years once w/o being started,,,,, I just hate seeing it go to waste. Its nice of you to offer taking care of it for me too! hehe Fro: In just under two months I'll be back out at Dumont (w/o the shee) so I can get a fix (yes I'm an addict) I would give a left nut to move out west.... It's all the wifes fault since she wont move. I cant think of much I would change.... There is always something... but it runs just THAT good now and handles just the way I like........ AHHHHHHHHHH Its no wonder I'm going bald. I gotta stop pulling the hair out of my head!

Boonman: I guess I'm just in one of those moods lately... It makes me sick to see it sit there every day... and NOT be able to enjoy it. I'm lucky if I get to ride it twice a year. If I take it out locally its nothing but a hassle... cops, land owners, ect. Every time I have some paint work in the garage I have to push it out so I dont cover it in overspray... And that just makes me want to ride it even more. The way the bike sits right now is perfect for me... I cant think of anything I would want to change or add to it (except some bling-billet) Shawn from K&K already told me that I will just end up building another one.... which is very true... So why sell it at that point Well I'm glad to hear your trip went well.... but I have to ask... WTF were you thinking? GW bridge on a saturday? Are you nuts? Hell. GWB on any day is pure insanity! One thing to remember about Mass, Ct, and NY drivers... If your in your truck...... Your bigger than they are... so drive your truck like its a honda civic and everyone will stay the f out of your way! hehe

I agree,,,,, a little oil in the crank area is normal.. Thats what lubes the crank/rod bearings anyways. If there was NO oil. Then I would be worried. I've split many cases and have always found some oil. I doubt the oil would look or smell like it does from the can.... Remember its been mixed in gas and sent through the engine... As long as its clean you should be fine

should i get the ac nerfs with propeg or not
banshee370 replied to trialsallday's topic in General Banshee Discussion
I agree... While the AC stuff looks nice... they ALL fit for sh|t. I havent seen an AC part yet that bolts up w/o major swearing and hole reaming. I'd go w/ X-factor or Gibson myself.... -
Trailsallday: I would love too.... but as of right now my schedule is fubar. I've also been tossing around the idea of parting out my shee What part of Mass are you from again? Maybe if I can get some projects done we can set something up. Jeepman wants to ride also.

Awesome deal dude! Glad I could help. hehe So are ya swinging by here? hehe j/k Either way I hope ya have a safe trip and all goes well!

I didnt watch the full debate... but this is what I got from it. Kerry will say and do what ever he has too, to make himself look better. He reminds me of the typical used car salesman in the polyester striped suit. Towards the beginning of the debate he was asked a question and he darted around it for a second, to then say "Go to my website blahblahblah.com" That was SO CHEAP...... wtf was that? If anyone has at least a few brain cells working then you SHOULD be able to see through this clowns bullshit. Myself being in sales and around the automotive business for the last 20+ years can see through him like a piece of sayran wrap. His comments were an insult to EVERY soldier that is in Iraq fighting for our freedom...... and a slap in the face to each one that has lost their life! "What they are doing is wrong" "How they are doing it is wrong" "Why they are doing it, is wrong" As for GWB..... At least you know who/what your dealing with. I know many very intelligent people that cant speak for shit, and especially in front of a crowd.. That doesnt make them an idiot. All of our past, present and future leaders are ALL puppets, whose strings are pulled by someone else. I'm glad we have someone who has a set of balls on him that can grab the strings and control himself every now and then. Kerry looked like a fish out of water........ flopping around looking for the right answer to hopefully get him back in the water.

sandstar: I have fairly large jars full of sand from each dune I have been too. Each time I see these pics........... I too get that feeling in my gut. 52 days, 22 hours, 49 minutes, and 12 seconds left until Thanksgiving at Dumont!
-
JT: There is no need to bubble wrap my shee... It was built to be ridden... not looked at! Now if I could get away in Feburary.... Time to start the ass kissin now
-
I think I've delt w/ JT on one occasion. I would not hisitate to dop my shee off to him to haul it out west for me. Not that my word means much but I have around 17k into my shee... I only wish I didnt have plans otherwise I would be setting something up with him in a heartbeat.

Verrrry Intersting, was 9-11 a set up?
banshee370 replied to sweetshee4312's topic in General Banshee Discussion
A kid goes to his dad and asks, "Dad, what are politics?" His dad replies, " Put it this way; I am the breadwinner of the family so I am capatilism. Your mom is the owner of the money so she is government. The government is the provider for the people so you are the people. Your baby brother will be the future, and the nanny is the working class. Now think about that." So he went to bed. He was woken by his brother. The baby had pooped in his daiper. He went to tell his parents, but he only found his mom asleep in the bed. He didn't want to wake her, so he went to the nanny. The door was locked. He checked through a hole and saw the dad in bed with the nanny. He went back to bed. The next morning, he went to his dad and said, "Dad i know what you mean now." "You do? Tell me." "OK, while capatilism is screwing the working class, the government is sound asleep, while the people are watching the future being pooped on!!!" -

Lots of reading here.... but worth it if you ask me. (taken from BT) I guess Holyman can hit the snooze button and go back to sleep. Subject: World War III Began in 1979 This is not very long, but very informative. You have to read the catalogue of events in this brief piece. Then, ask yourself how anyone can take the position that all we have to do is bring our troops home from Iraq, sit back, reset the snooze alarm, go back to sleep, and no one will ever bother us again. In case you missed it, World War III began in November 1979... that alarm has been ringing for years. US Navy Captain Ouimette is the Executive Officer at Naval Air Station, Pensacola, Florida. Here is a copy of the speech he gave last month It is an accurate account of why we are in so much trouble today and why this action is so necessary. AMERICA NEEDS TO WAKE UP! That's what we think we heard on the 11th of September 2001 (When more than 3,000 Americans were killed -AD) and maybe it was, but I think it should have been "Get Out of Bed!" In fact, I think the alarm clock has been buzzing since 1979 and we have continued to hit the snooze button and roll over for a few more minutes of peaceful sleep since then. It was a cool fall day in November 1979 in a country going through a religious and political upheaval when a group of Iranian students attacked and seized the American Embassy in Tehran. This seizure was an outright attack on American soil; it was an attack that held the world's most powerful country hostage and paralyzed a Presidency. The attack on this sovereign U. S. embassy set the stage for events to follow for the next 25 years. America was still reeling from the aftermath of the Vietnam experience and had a serious threat from the Soviet Union when then, President Carter, had to do something. He chose to conduct a clandestine raid in the desert. The ill-fated mission ended in ruin, but stood as a symbol of America's inability to deal with terrorism. America's military had been decimated and down sized/right sized since the end of the Vietnam War. A poorly trained, poorly equipped and poorly organized military was called on to execute a complex mission that was doomed from the start. Shortly after the Tehran experience, Americans began to be kidnapped and killed throughout the Middle East. America could do little to protect her citizens living and working abroad. The attacks against US soil continued. In April of 1983 a large vehicle packed with high explosives was driven into the US Embassy compound in Beirut When it explodes, it kills 63 people. The alarm went off again and America hit the Snooze Button once more. Then just six short months later a large truck heavily laden down with over 2500 pounds of TNT smashed through the main gate of the US Marine Corps headquarters in Beirut and 241 US servicemen are killed. America mourns her dead and hit the Snooze Button once more. Two months later in December 1983, another truck loaded with explosives is driven into the US Embassy in Kuwait, and America continues her slumber. The following year, in September 1984, another van was driven into the gate of the US Embassy in Beirut and America slept. Soon the terrorism spreads to Europe. In April 1985 a bomb explodes in a restaurant frequented by US soldiers in Madrid. Then in August a Volkswagen loaded with explosives is driven into the main gate of the US Air Force Base at Rhein-Main, 22 are killed and the snooze alarm is buzzing louder and louder as US interests are continually attacked. Fifty-nine days later a cruise ship, the Achille Lauro is hijacked and we watched as an American in a wheelchair is singled out of the passenger list and executed. The terrorists then shift their tactics to bombing civilian airliners when they bomb TWA Flight 840 in April of 1986 that killed 4 and the most tragic bombing, Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland in 1988, killing 259. Clinton treated these terrorist acts as crimes; in fact we are still trying to bring these people to trial. These are acts of war. The wake up alarm is getting louder and louder. The terrorists decide to bring the fight to America. In January 1993, two CIA agents are shot and killed as they enter CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia. The following month, February 1993, a group of terrorists are arrested after a rented van packed with explosives is driven into the underground parking garage of the World Trade Center in New York City. Six people are killed and over 1000 are injured. Still this is a crime and not an act of war? The Snooze alarm is depressed again. Then in November 1995 a car bomb explodes at a US military complex in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia killing seven service men and women. A few months later in June of 1996, another truck bomb explodes only 35 yards from the US military compound in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. It destroys the Khobar Towers, a US Air Force barracks, killing 19 and injuring over 500. The terrorists are getting braver and smarter as they see that America does not respond decisively. They move to coordinate their attacks in a simultaneous attack on two US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania.. These attacks were planned with precision. They kill 224. America responds with cruise missile attacks and goes back to sleep. The USS Cole was docked in the port of Aden, Yemen for refueling on 12 October 2000, when a small craft pulled along side the ship and exploded killing 17 US Navy Sailors. Attacking a US War Ship is an act of war, but we sent the FBI to investigate the crime and went back to sleep. And of course you know the events of 11 September 2001. Most Americans think this was the first attack against US soil or in America. How wrong they are. America has been under a constant attack since 1979 and we chose to hit the snooze alarm and roll over and go back to sleep. In the news lately we have seen lots of finger pointing from every high officials in government over what they knew and what they didn't know. But if you've read the papers and paid a little attention I think you can see exactly what they knew. You don't have to be in the FBI or CIA or on the National Security Council to see the pattern that has been developing since 1979. The President is right on when he says we are engaged in a war. I think we have been in a war for the past 25 years and it will continue until we as a people decide enough is enough. America needs to "Get out of Bed" and act decisively now. America has been changed forever.. We have to be ready to pay the price and make the sacrifice to ensure our way of life continues. We cannot afford to keep hitting the snooze button again and again and roll over and go back to sleep. After the attack on Pearl Harbor, Admiral Yamamoto said "... it seems all we have done is awakened a sleeping giant." This is the message we need to disseminate to terrorists around the world. Support Our Troops and support President Bush for having the courage, political or militarily, to address what so many who preceded him didn't have the backbone to do, both Democrat and Republican. This is not a political thing to be hashed over in an election year this is an AMERICAN thing. This is about our Freedom and the Freedom of our children in years to come. If you believe in this please forward it to as many people as you can especially to the young people and all those who dozed off in history class and who seem so quick to protest such a necessary military action. If you don't believe it, just delete it and go back to sleep. -
He seems to be a pretty straight up guy, thanks B370, you a member over at GD.com? Mike is a great guy..... I've done a bunch of work for him and actually have a tank I'm doing for him right now. Dune: Here is how my T-day is planned..... Our airfare is already paid and has been for months. Were staying the night at friends in vegas. The next morning we will be heading to the dunes in a friends F350 towing his 42' following another friend w/ his 42 footer. The owner of the F350 will arrive a day or two later after turkey dinner. Mike and the boys will be at Ogilby for T-day. While I would love to hit G for a major holiday again.... our cards are already delt. Thank you very much for the offer. Its greatly appreciated. This whole trip is only costing us air fare so I really cant complain. The crew we will be at in Dumont have spent T-day there the last 20 years.... mainly with their kids and grand kids. While I'm sure it will have plenty of crazies.... we will mostly be around camp w/ the kids and a few dune rides. Anything at that point will be better than staying home w/ the crazies....... errr I mean relatives

Here are a few pics of china wall.... While I agree its steep...... I still think Comp hill at Dumont towers over it... overall height and almost verticle.

Dunedemon: I dont have the names of the tires offhand. I will find out for you though. (I think they are mini desert traks) Here is MY opinion of them. I have never owned a set but I have ridden bikes with them. Traction: Almost as good as a set of Haulers. They hook very well and throw little to no roost. I woud like to compare the same bike w/ 2 sets of tires... but never had the time. They hook VERY well for what they look like and I would put them up just about any straight or V paddle. I havent seen a V paddle give great "straight line performance" and any straight paddle sucks for turning. These seem to be the best of both worlds Handling: They handle as good as any high quality "V" shaped paddle, but with better off line accelleration. Hard to get both from one set of paddles. overall: They can be regular cut or competition cut. Comp cut will yield the most amount of traction and will also help on weight savings. When riding in groups (inline) the person behind you will barely get roosted. If you have ever followed anyone with Haulers... you will realize how much that sucks! These are a pleasure to follow behind. Only downfall that I know of is cost, availability and weight. I know I wouldnt hesitate to purchase a set..... Its just not worth it for me when I only see dunes once a year. I can get you Mike's email addy if you would like more info

Half the RF group is going to Mother G........... Buttercup or Gordons. That way they can ride up ....... see the crazies and ride back. I will be coming out w/ my wife & kids. And G can be a lil too crazy... I'd rather not let the 2 lil ones see that just yet... Maybe when they are a lil older. The group of us that are hitting dumont will be more family oriented... I wont be shipping my shee and could really care less if I ride at all... Were going to Dumont to get AWAY from the family and have an enjoyable holiday for once.... Anyone else have family that goes insane around the holidays?
