Chase: I'm not into tracks... my shee isnt set up for that kind of riding anyways. I would think it would suck trying to MX w/ a +4 and drag porting 8) Im sure you will be very happy w/ your motor when you get it back from Dan. I know I would not even hesitate to ship him my next motor... As for Nov 2.... I hope the weather holds out, since I really need to get the shee dialed in, and work any bugs out of it. One of the guys from K&K cant make it this weekend w/ me and I need to finish up a bunch of little things before I drive 3 hrs to ride. I dont mind wrenching on others bikes but I dispise it when its my own. Talk to you guys soon....

I would have to say its the old style. It's in decent shape. It has a few gouges in it but not bad. I will try to clean some mud off of it tonight and take a pic.

Banchetta: I wanted to come up the weekend of Oct 26th. but I may hold off one more week. Do you think you will be around the weekend of Nov 2nd? As it looks I may grab a hotel room for saturday night.... do I have to worry about the bikes in the trailer overnight or is it a decent area? Hopefully the weather can hold out for an extra week. Chase or who ever... I'm trying to get my shee back together before the snow flys.... Any updated info on the Dayton pit would be appreciated. I would like to come up at the end(last weekend if possible) of October (weather permiting) and if the place isnt shut down by then. What kind of tires do you guys run up there? Is it safe for paddles? Thanks in advance

chase: Sorry to hear about your mishap up in Maine... Hopefully I can get mine back together for at least 1 ride next month. I'm shooting for Oct 26th if thats possible. As for pistons. The only drawback that I see w/ the cast (Nik's) is the short service life. Cast pistons when run for long periods (years) will tend to come apart. A very bad thing. They become brittle. I used to run the cast pistons and after a long talk w/ my motor builder about them, I switched back to Wiseco, and I havent looked back. Good luck getting your shee back together.

Everyone can say what they want.... but I will stand behind Iridea250r here.... It will run cooler and cleaner than pump gas. The last time I purchased fuel was close to 2 years ago (shit, is that depressing) As soon as my shee is ready for action I will be purchasing more AV gas for it, and without hesitation! I say yes!

Just for your information... K&K atv does not build motors or atv's. The bikes they build are for MX racing. (250r's, 400ex's, yzf426's, z400's, ect) Now do you mean as in a dealer or engine builder?

Jasonsbanshee: You forgot one for me.... I am lucky if I get to ride once a year Hopefully all that will change in the next year or 2... sheesh its rough having you young kids.
