  3. Ya know those 450's haul ass, but think about it they have 100 more cc's and have essentially the latest technology. The banshee has 100 less cc's and how old is the technology in a banshee motor? A banshee will wake up al lot if it had all the latest technology in the two-stroke world ie. powervalves, case induction etc.
  4. There are a lot of things you can you can resleeve the cylinders for stock or big bore. You can get the good shit like T-Rexx or Cheetahs. Or get new cylinders from yamaha.
  5. I'm lookin for some inframe drag pipes or LRD adjustable pipes for a trade on my chrome T-5's. The pipes are not new but in very good condition i will try and get some pics if anyone is interested.
  6. I have one, I don't know how it compares to other heads but it seams to do the trick. It looks great just kind of a pain in the butt to polish, other than that no complaints.
  7. I have the PWR one that you get off of ebay and i never overheat or get hot for that matter and have ridden for a while on this topend and haven't lost any compression so i believe it is doing the job. I paid like 320 shipped and got it in a few days.
  8. My guess would be 35mm PWK's. I have them on my prted shee and it hauls ass on top, but it's sluggish on the bottom. If you want bottom end i would try 33mm PWK's, or for all out drags Lectrons.
  9. Make sure to use new gas when you get it back together and to get new spark plugs, make sure they are gapped corectly too. I believe Ocotillo Wells is at sea level as is every place i know of to ride in that desert basin. I would check your airfilter too it looks like it really leaned out maybe you have a hole in it or something.
  10. What ports actually cause a problem when going to a stroker motor? I also have a ported motor and would like to get a stroker crank but I am not sure as to whether not I will be able to. By the way my motor has a Stage 3 port from Trinity so it isn't a full port job.
  11. I agree get a fresh bore and hone then throw in some new pistons. Check out your head too make sure there's no pitting. As to the cause it could have been running lean dependeing on your altitude I know when I was running stock carbs I was at a 350 main with an almost identical setup. Detonation could have caused it but how old was the gas? Make sure the jets weren't clogged either.
  12. It loks like you got a great deal, but are you sure they are keihins they seem to be clones that use keihin jets. Even so thats one hell of a deal.
  13. That is true you do learn as you go along. I learned more that night when you were trying to get your shifter stuff workin after the drags then I have in a long time. That really sucked your bike broke but god damn i learned a lot.
  14. I'll give you a DG Alloy series bumper, boost bottle, set of stock shocks (not in best condition but will work), and stock carbs for it.

  16. Yep make sure it's registered and take your paperwork with you unless your quad is in an enclosed trailer or toy box. On the last HQ trip to Gordon's Well they tried to take my Dad's buggy because there wasn't a vin number on the frame. There was a vin number on the motor and the green sticker checked out good and was in our name, yet they still tried to take our buggy until they realized that they were being huge PRICKS! And i threatened to drive by with a cup of shit and throw it on the highest ranked officer. They wouldn't have caught me they were only CHP. Fuckin Smucks

  19. I have Trinity Stage 3 porting and i am very happy with it a lot of people talk poorly about trinity but i never had a problem with them. You are probably better off trying to go with Jim at Passion Racing who is on the HQ or Dan at Patriot Racing. They have more reputable names among HQ members and are cheaper(I think).

  21. Those months are extremely hot and the only dune riding you will probably be able to do is at night. I'm up for it. Hopefully we can get a few more people than we did at our last dune trip.
  22. I agree that was a lot of fun even though no one really showed up. Lefty I hope your Mom or Grandma i'm not sure which had fun out at the hill. There were only a handful of HQ members there but the ones that did show brought people. Also a big thanks to all the people that made this trip possible.
  23. He should try and contact them they said while they were out there that they stand behind their stuff 100%. I don't know if the finish would cover that though.
  24. Great post and i will second that motion i was also on the trip and they are awesome, they have the cleanest welds i have ever seen. Gary and Danny are two of the nicest guys I've met out there. Jethro you should ask Gary to get pics he took some on his digital i don't know what he got, but you should post them if there's anything good.
  25. I have a proposal for Saturday lets ride to Glamis its like an 11 mile ride i heard and we can bring gas in my dads 4 seater sandrail.
