What's a long period of time mean?? week, month?? I usally mix 5 gallons at a time, and sometimes the left overs might sit for a month (in a plastic container)... is that bad? I did hear that fresh race fuel will produce more HP (like 1 or 2 more HP) then "older" fuel. This was dyno tested awhile ago in atv sport.

I heard they are going to discontinue making the Excursion's... is this true?

My 250R with ESR 330 motor on it is as quick as my shee.. but not as quick as the space shuttle... do they even launch that thing anymore??

I don't think it's the fuel... 110 seems overkill using 20cc domes... I have 19cc domes a run 92 pump. Sounds like jetting.. start with the needle. Are they stock carbs?

20 years the shee's will have been around.. that's something said all by it's self! Love 2 stokes, and with so many aftermarket parts out there, repairs and mods will be around for awhile. Can't bring myself to buying a 4 stroke sport quad yet.. I do have a Polaris 700, but that's my mudder and winter quad. I get a rush just smelling Benoil and C12 mix.

Ass holes! You can buy and register and atv but you can't ride it. f*ck them. I haven't been up to NY in awhile to ride, but we use to ride in the Jefferson County and Lowville area without a problem.

A good example is to use Hatfield McCoy trail system as your basis. That area was pretty much abandon, but because of the miles and miles of trails at a reasonable fee, the local biz is loving it. And it's really changed that area. PA is got to get with it and take a hard look at the potential out there for the local economy. We do 2 trips and year to H/M and never get tied of it. Actually there is miles and miles of trails outside of the Tower City riding area. Local cops don't mind as long as you cross the road on a 90 deg angel. Stay off the roads and your fine. We pull up to gas stations and local restaurants without any problem. We're up there every other weekend. There are some areas to camp but nothing that can support a lot of people in one area.. they are spread out. There are a few killer hills one called the widow maker, and other smaller play area all throughout that area. Parking is an issue, I just couldn't tell you one good area that can hold alot of cars/trucks. I only have access for a few trailers, it's though a local company and the space is limited. Other than that you take your chances parking on the train tracks or off-roading it with your trailer. This really depends how many riders plan to show up. This is the Beaver Meadows / Hazelton area...we actually park in Weatherly and ride from there.

This bike has balls.. if you ever riddin a 330 set-up before you know what I'm mean. Sorry to say.. it smokes most shee's out there.. not all of them, but it kills the new 450's that everyone wants. Here's your change to blow by your buddy thinking he's bad ass dropping over 6K on what he thinks is the fastest quad. Not to mention he'll need to thrown cha-ching in to that new quad to even try to keep up.

I know .. I know it a Banshee site, but stopped racing and need to try and get rid of it. It's full deck out GNCC 250R, runs perfect.. all new bottom end, ESR 330 motor, AXIS w rez shocks, CR 250 ignition, Hyper beads in the rear, 38mm Minuki carb,.. and whole bunch of stuff. Only the frame is original.. it's an 86'. It's ready for XC out the door, bikes been on the podium plenty of times. It's a sure in for someone ready to start racing or someone taking the next step. First $5000 cash takes it.. I'll even drive up to 100 miles to meet someone.

You should be fine.. H/M is a tough place but you will not be doing 100 miles a day. I've never taken my shee there before, it's best suited for 4wd in my opinion.

I agree, I've had a P.D. coolhead before and had problems (leaks)... now running a noss and it works great no leaks. I would think about switching to a noss, than going back to a moded stock.

Alright, think I'm ready to move to the next level and get the engine worked done. Need some input from you guys on what should I have done. I spent the $$ for 28mm PWK carbs and would like to keep them, honestly the work great!! Did a cool head, CDI, V-force reeds, SST pipes, K&N with the off, and yes a nice shinny boost bottle. What should I do to keep my current set up, and gain some HP! We ride the black sands of PA (strip mines) mostly, kick butt hill climbs and trail riding. I don't race the quad. Need bottom end and mid range... not a lot of areas to get top end speed. Should I port and polish? Or look into a big bore kit? Remember I wanna keep my carbs, just because I don't wanna spend the $$ for 33's or 35's. And I'm cheap.

I'll try to make it for 1 of the days, only because were headed to H/M the following week. I'm about 2 hours aways. Is there more then 8-10 miles of trails / area? I love play areas, but also like to explore a wide area. My crew is very seasoned riding the black sands of PA, we ride Weatherly / Hazelton area.. alot. There's miles and miles of trails up there and hills, just last weekend we put on 40 miles and never crossed the same path. All umm.. non-legal of course. I guess you have time, but is there any specific time and place everyone is meeting?

I hear you bro, Dealer's suck for purchasing parts. It's exactly why I buy all my parts on-line now. Got tried of taking the dealers book, looking it up myself, telling them the part number. Only thing they were doing is taking my money!! F' them!

Wow this is the first I heard of this. I have an 01'. with no tors and running Klein PWK 28's never sticks. I never had this problem even when it was stock. Rapid heating and cooling will distort any metal after time. Good luck.
