I didn't mean 4th and 5th up the steepest side... I meant up the middle wooped out side... I'm sure it would have revved out 4th up the steepest side though. Sand literaly falls down the hill as your going up it on that side..lol. it was pure entertainment. Pattons is hardcore. Its too bad SDD didn't cruize to pattons with us on Sunday. I think his g/f got more seat time on his quad than he did.

Once in that wicked power I was pulling 4th and 5th gear wheelies at pattons...it was really mopping shit up this weekend...got hot as hell a few times but i didnt notice any coolant sizzling on my pipes. nice trip and thanks for all your help out there. The drags on Sunday sucked ass so its a good thing you did not go...the conditions were horrable.

Yes, porting was the next best thing to do to my shee after pipes. very worth it.

well mine is a 96, and I see that you have a 2000. I would be less woried about it if i was you. Yes, my shee was runnin great when I tore it down. but yeah, if you want to further modd your shee or if you just use it for your daily driver then by all means tear it down and build it up right. lol.

Yeah, I would take the extra time to get a true and weld because when I took my crank out it was separated like 5 times the legal amt as says in the yamaha bible and that was from pipes and a filter. That price included bearings as well....so 200 for a new er true/weld crank beats 550 for a new non welded crank.........

I had Mr Duncan do my crank (like a 30 min drive). He charged about 200 for A true and weld and new bearings. He sure likes to take his time though

Thats basically what I said. 9 outa 10 times. I find it hard to believe that you do 3rd gear starts with that bike. Is there a special trick to that? what size front sprocket do you have?

..and dont forget you cant go very fast without the right suspension setup.

I just put a +4 on my banshee and It was only piped and needed every inch of the extension..lol...she is receiving a pair of 12 port cylinders soon.. I duneride/drag race and always had problems keeping the front end down especially going up steep hill climbs. After I got the +4 by banshee did everything better...

I too have works doubles on the front of my shee...BIG improvement over stock... u will love the change.

Its very easy to take apart the water pump and inspect the internal components like the primary gear and most important that plastic impeller that might have melted a bit.

Read up on Planet sand about the triple Exhaust port job which cost nearly 500 dollars at most places, its over rated...a few people say 2-3 hp gains on the dyno for the same bike diff porting..read it up. just something to think about..i dont know if its true or not.
