  1. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...RTQ:MOTORS:1123 how do these pipes compare to todays current crop?

  3. i have searched more then 20 pages for over an hour so i dont want to hear the search reply. even if i found mostly what i was looking for id still like the latest crop of opinions. i wanna know stock which is better for all around use. i do not have porting plans, atleast in the near future, but wouldnt mind knowing what works there too. i do everything from fields, to dirt roads, woods, trails...everything. just looking for a solid improvement everywhere. i have riddin banshees with these pipes, but that was years ago. i just remember both being way better then stock (duh) thanks PS: feel free to include t5s. im not looking for anything else but these three, so dont suggest any out of this group. i remember also being impressed with the t5s, especially the sound, but again years ago. thanks
  4. i coulda swore i remember a sticky that had people telling you what pipes they had, what elevation and what they had it jetted at. why would something so useful dissapear?
  5. looks like a 2000 to me, but yes good trade.
  6. Though i agree you should check it over also, you SHOULDNT have to. you have to remember too that most people dont have tools and count on these monkies at the dealer. Its not like most of these quads come like a lego set, they are 75% together for the most part and its pretty sad what the dealers out west are doing
  7. beat
  8. i owned my quadzilla 4 years and the flywheel snapped and the coil went out (1st year i had it). Now admittidley i dont ride it much, but for a 20 yr old machine its holdin up fine for me. it starts very easy and has torque like an big 4 stroke. i only rode bolt on banshees, but i think this would take them all (it has a PT pipe). i also think the suspension might even be better. sorry but i love them both
  9. are u sure its faster just because of it having one more gear? maybe the 5 speed in the tecate had wider ratios....
  10. the quadzilla is a big one lunger, it wont make the hp a banshee can, but the banshee wont have the torque, especially through the whole range like a lt500
  11. it also doesnt take a wizard to know that banshees are not good wheelie quads! atleast at low speed. (i now realize this is almost a year old...)
  12. whats nice about a quadzilla is because its a big single is that u'll never have that torque from a banshee. banshees can have over 100hp... cool but how much torque? half that? a lt500 can lug gears like a raptor. nothing else like either of these two and i hope to have another banshee real soon. definatley two of my favorite sport quads
  13. stock for stock youd be done. i read in an old mag they're even off the line then the zilla puts 4 lengths on in 200 yards, sounds right. if dr q built this one u'll probably lose
  14. i know what u said but it sounded like u said polaris in general but even so the metal they use for the exausts on all there quads is rusty junk, even in a heated garage! leaky gas cap and a couple other minor things ive had with it, but otherwise nothing major
  15. are u talking about the same polaris? they've come a long way but arent exactly maintenance free. i would never own any polaris but a predator, outlaw 525 or sportsman 500. as far as ur wife if it has to be a 450 the hondas more comfortable, but id wait on the kawasaki. reverse is something most women want
  16. u shoulda asked if the good looking woman she described will be there too
  17. with her thinking she was hot i shoulda known without seeing the trailors

  19. yeah u have to buy them with store points. ive had the game at 92% for over a year and a half and its because i only did half the challenges. the only reason i see why that is is because i always played championship (and regular racing) on the hardest possible because to me its wicked easy. if thats not it then can anyone tell me?
  20. also in 89 the seat was made thicker and the tires were changed to the crappy dunlops. also i think added wheel travel
  21. stock the 450s are quicker on any terrain, but not by any more then 2 lengths in my experience
  22. u mean its 43 inches wide, but yeah they are slow revving and tippy. they acually like to grab traction too, so its the opposite of the banshee. i personally didnt care for my 01 or any others ones ive ridden
  23. what is the most anybody has gotten or seen out of a stock bore and stroke banshee on gas?
  24. get some toomey t-5s and u'll be even more addicted
  25. this is a good post and helpful as well, so i brought it back from the dead
