Chrome steering stem w/Tag bars. -
Have some parts to sell that are sitting in the shop. Here's a chromed anti-vibe steering stem complete with Tag bars. Retail cost around $400. Sell for $250. This is for a Banshee. Also have a DG Krome-Lite Bumper for a Banshee. Retail is $130. Sell for $75. Next is an aftermarket wide style grab bar for a Raptor. Retails for around $50. Sell for $25. These prices are for parts only. Shipping extra. Thanks gang! Prices reduced!! Scroll down!!

Sounds like your clutch is definately slipping. New steel plates, fiber plates, and springs will cure your problem. You're going to need a new right side cover gasket as well. Has the clutch gotten out of adjustment? Is there some play at the clutch lever? Have you verified that the clutch arm is pointing to the mark on the top engine case located under your left carb? If either of those items are out of adjustment, then that's the most likely reason for you clutch to go bad in the first place.

You bought a set of grips that were intended to be used with a twist throttle. Get a new set that states they are used for thumb throttles. That'll solve your problem.

Did you get your billet kickstarter yet? Ready to sell now? PM replied, Milo.

BIG PROBLEM with banshee idle, maybe t.o.r.s?
Lightninn replied to badbanshee01's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
I'm with Cotton on this one. The TORS will not make the engine rpms "run away" like that. It's function is to do exactly the opposite and kill the engine if your carb slide(s) sticks when you let off the thumb throttle. What you are experiencing is an air leak. That air leak is causing a severe lean condition which results in all kinds of nasty things like backfires, high engine temps, stuck rings, detonation, and your seemingly possessed engine. It simply kept running because of exactly what Cotton described. Check the carb boots. They are either cracked or most likely torn right where the clamps are located. This usually happens because of over tightening the clamps. Also check to see if your carb tops are tight on the carb bodies. A quick and easy way to check for air leaks is to start the engine and warm it up a little. Then let it sit there and idle. Next spray little shots of starting fluid around the carb boots and intake. If the engine rpm's increase when you spray it, then you've found your leak. ONLY SPRAY LITTLE SHOTS!! It doesn't take much. Lightninn -
Installed New Clutch, But it Doesnt Seem to Engage
Lightninn replied to smkmupbanshee's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
If your lever feels normal, you've most likely installed the pressure plate incorrectly. There is an arrow on the clutch basket located on one of the basket fingers. When installing the pressure plate, one of the three arrows on the pressure plate have to align with the the arrow on the clutch basket. If the arrows are not aligned, the pressure plate will not engage fully on the transmission main shaft. This will cause the pressure plate to never engage the clutch plates even though the lever is out and everything seems to be adjusted correctly from the outside. Pull the right side cover again and inspect the orientation of the pressure plate in reference to the clutch basket. Hope this helps. -
I'm looking for a used kick start lever and knuckle assy for a Banshee. Like new condition - no rattles. Anyone out there have one they would sell? Let me know. Post here, PM me, or email me. [email protected] Thanks!

I've seen wheelie bars made out of many things. You can make it out of 1" od tubing. It may be a little heavy! Our's is made from .75" chromoly tubing. Consider the more weight you hang behind your rear axle, the more the atv is going to want to wheelie. Take a look at threegwheeliebar.com to get a rough idea of how to construct one yourself. Or take a look over on atvdra.com on the members rides section and check out some pictures there. Some of the pics have wheelie bars in them.
