    From the sound of it the quad is running rich.Take the float bowls off the and remove the brass jet in the centre and tell us what size it is.Black oily plugs are a sign of being rich.The porcelain of the plug should be a chocolate brown colour.Don't trust what Clocker says to be gospel.

    With the 310mains in it what do the plugs look like after a WOT run? I still think its jetting not a stator issue

    Sonunds to me like your rich on the mains.If you had 330 mains in and the plugs were dark and wet then wtih an increase in temperature then you shoul be going smaller on the mains to supply less fuel.(Cold air is more dense)What change in temperature have you had?
